I started when I was 16. Up until that point I HATED cigarette smoke. My cousin and I both worked at a fast food resteraunt where smoking was allowed, that's how we started. Everyone that worked there smoked....everywhere. Neither of us came from parents or even family who smoked. Just me, my cousin and my little brother. Very odd.

So, 15ish years for me.

Started smoking age 9 (swiped from my parents of course). Will be 59 in Sept. I should be dead. I still smoke a few analogs a day, but I dont inhale them, I just like the taste in my mouth, I guess. COPD pretty bad, but no O2, thank God. Had a heart attack at age 43, smoked in the john while in the hospital. Yeah was a hard-core smoker.

Interesting how the non-profits soooo concerned about our health are convinced (or are they really?) that electronic cigarettes are aimed at young non-smokers to get them hooked on nicotine.

How do they explain the fact that 90% of us non-smoking kids have smoked for 10 years or more?

I am 46, and have been smoking for 31 years. I went from 2 packs a day to about 1/2 a pack a day, since my first ecig. I just cant find the right PV or juice. I have tried the l88b "noob tubes" a 801, and a 510. I think I need to go high volt big battery, and up the nic. Just cant spend that kind of money right now all at once! Bottom line, e-cigs will help you cut down on the analogs if not quit completely!
