How old are you and how long did you smoke

Smoked for 24 years ... Ugh ... I really hate to see that in print :0(

Quit during two pregnancies, thank God for morning sickness. Started 3 months after each child was born and was finished breast feeding. Why did I start smoking again after so many months? Honestly? Out of boredom, stress, and that insane "brain" connection between what I thought would bring me pleasure again and relax me. What a bad move!

Tudius,

Congats on getting over the one year mark.

I wanted to comment on your modest tapering. I have read a few member post and they look like they are trying to climb down of a 20+ year old tree in a couple of weeks. Your method seems like a more sound approach.

All my best wishes for you getting to 0%. As for myself me and my Cardiologist are just glad I am not smoking anymore. I think I will wait until around the 1 year mark before I attempt to lower the nic %, may try puffing a little less (currently 2.4%).

Already answered earlier. 78 yr old DH left the house today with no nic. We'll see how he fares. His BP has, until just recently been mid range for a 40 something. It's recently gotton pre hypertensive so he wants to see how it responds to 0 nic. I'll bet part of it is the lbs of jerky, with salt, he munches on so much. He was vaping 12-14 mg. BTW... He works full time, 6 days a week, and air travels to work for 4 of those days. Lucky me and family to have him so healthy and lucky and wise for all of us for vaping.

And, yup, he stealth vapes in 1st class coming home with a couple Bloody Marys; free upgrade with so many miles. (BTW... it's really hard to stealth vape with many of the RBAs.)

36, smoked stinkies since I was 13, so 23 years (man I'm getting old) ...it took me about a month of supplemetning vaping with smoking before I got up the willpower to quit the analogs all together, and stick to vaping. best thing I ever did for myself and my family. Now I prefer the vast variety of eliquids/ methods of vaping them over any analog any day!

Fruit Flavored

$1.99 per 10ml, awesome liquid, awesome price!!

I am 23, I only recently started smoking, so less than one year, but due to stress, and working construction, I was up to 2 packs a day.

I first bought my cig-a-like a couple months ago, and couldn't believe how good even those tasted! My good friend runs a liquor store and he is a heavy vaper, he turned me onto those, and eventually I just needed to go the next step.

I bought my Vision Spinner 1300mAh with a Kanger T3s about 2 months ago and have been enjoying it so very much!

A couple times, my bettery died while at work, so I picked up a pack of analogs, and at first, while smoking the cig-a-likes, it was no big deal, but now with the PV, it happened again, and I couldn't even finish half the cig without feeling gross and the taste was horrible! And I was smoking Marlboro smooths!

I am still trying to get my Girlfriend to be on-board with this, and while she is happy I am not smoking anymore, she still does not like that I am spending money to take in nicotine. In time, I hope to get her to try vaping something delicious and 0mg...maybe...just MAYBE that will win her over! hahaha...

41, female. Started analogs when I was 15, quit at 30. I got married and my husband made me. I was glad I did but I would still smoke every few months for the next year, just had to sneak around. I started vaping in June. My husband hates seeing me "smoke" and was very vocal about it for a few weeks. He's finally accepted it to the point where he even refers to it by the proper terminology of vaping!
:vapor:;)
