USA. State: Inebriated.
I'm 23 (as of December 1st). Been vaping for about a year and 5 months now. Last cigarette was probably 8 or 9 months ago. Haven't bought a pack in a year, easily.

I started when I was about 14 or 15. Smoked 1-5 a day throughout high school. Got to college and started smoking a pack or so a day. Moved into my own place, started smoking 2 packs a day. Went on like that, 2 PAD for about 2 or 3 years-ish.

31 now started smoking when I was 13. Sounds stupid but right before my 31st birthday, I realized I had been smoking for over half my life and I just need to stop. I turned 31 on December 5th and that's when I made it official that I was quitting. I did slip up the night of my birthday but I was drinking with friends.
I stopped cold turkey when I found out I was pregnant but started stress smoking after he was born.
I don't want my kid to ever see me smoking. He's almost 2 so it's time I quit.

24 years old, smoked a few when I was 11 was a full blown smoker at 13 and pretty much had the same thought. "I've already been doing this crud nearly half my life." I decided it was going to kill me eventually if I didn't find a way to quit. I still have a few when I drink sometimes but for the most (read: sober) part I'm smoke free.

I thought it would be unfair to my kid to die prematurely from something as stupid as smoking. I wasn't a heavy smoker (about half a pack a day) but I have smoked for a long time. I just don't have it in me anymore.

31 yrs old
15 yrs smoking
1 year vaping as of this coming new year.

I've tried to quit smoking many times and was unsuccessful until I picked up some cigalikes after trying a friends.
Fortunately , another friend had an ego and clearo which i tried and it made all the difference. I haven't smoked since.

Now I just have to stop constantly buying new tanks, juices and mods....but it's worth it. :)
