I'm 36 and have been smoking for 18 years (that's half my life). I was a pack a day marlboro reds fan, and that doesn't include poker or heavy drinking nights.

I just started vaping last Tuesday, and I have all ready cut down to 1-2 every couple days (and they have all ready started to taste horrible). I think I may have outgrown my 120mah starter and am now looking into a joyetech eVic or a Volcano Infrerno.

Funny thing is, I didn't even buy the starter kit for myself, but now I'm the one using it, lol.

I'm a guy and I just turned 26. Been a daily moderate vaper for little over a year now. I never smoked cigarettes or roll ups, nor did I use mouth baccy, but had a couple of good years with cigars and pipes, although I never smoked regularly.

I could still enjoy a pipe now or then, but tobacco is just too expensive, plus I enjoy e-cigs a lot more. More fun flavors, full of innovations to keep updated on, much less of a hassle than dealing with the tobacco, ashes and pipe cleaning routines, and not to mention it's a lot more comfortable vaping indoors than smoking outdoors, especially in winter.

Im 46 smoked Marlboro lights for 10 years then kicked it up a notch to Marlboro red when I got divorced then smoked a pack a day for 20 more years, started when I was 16, quit on my 46 b-day with the help of an ecig......had a minor setback because I ran out of supplies but back on track now....no real cigs for 4 hrs since the mail came...lol

SkinyFatMan......thats too funny....glad you quit......I quit 4 hrs ago when the mail came with my cartomizers.......been vaping steady since but now I'm waiting for my battery to charge again.......ooops should have bought 2, but didn't know if I would like it or even use it when I purchased it. I have a new one coming......would like an all day one but I want one thats small like a ciggarette. Good Luck to you....keep it up.

Smoking on and off since 15- Quit 2x for a year.
Starting vaping late 2011.

Last slip up was last year on vacation to Thailand. (they are illegal there and didn't want to get "Locked up abroad" for possession for something banned)
After a month, realized the KR808 just weren't cutting it anymore and upgraded to twists- haven't smoked another analog since I received that delivery.

I'm 44. First cig I ever had was when I was 11. Some of the older kids in the neighborhood thought it was "funny" to see me smoke a cig and get me high. I just thought "Sweet, the older COOL kids are letting me hang out with them!" Cigs were .75 a pack (no joke).

Started smoking a pack a day at 15yo ($1.25 a pack) and continued until about three weeks ago. The longest I'd ever managed to stay off cigs was about 2-3 years or so, though I had a few "slips" in that time. Since then, about the longest I've managed was 3 months. Frankly, with this, I'm abundantly optimistic. Not only is this satisfying my urge for nicotine and the holding of an object to puff on, but I'm now discovering this whole new world of gadgetry to play about with! Once I'm done building my Dobsonian telescope, I'll turn my attention to crafting my own mods. Couldn't resist, and already started grabbing parts I've run into that would work in a spiffy looking e-hookah :D
