I have been vaping for almost 2 weeks. I havent been able to sleep well during this time. Some nights I cannot sleep at all, some nights I can get a few hours sleep. I have also been having "restless legs" well actually "restless body". I dont know if its related to the ecigs or not, just wondering if anyone has had an experience like this.

Quite the contrary for me. To say that my nights have been restless and sleepless for more than 25 years would be an understatement. The very first night after my first day of vaping I slept better than I have in all of those years. And to this day, I can go to sleep rather quickly and my nights are much better overall.

Hopefully others will chime in here with their sleeping experiences.

I've been having trouble falling asleep for a couple of days now. Im also 2 weeks into vaping pretty much. I didn't even think about it being caused by vaping. Though my problem might be this forum, because all I do at night is research this new hobby! And what do I do when I lurk? I puff my 808 a little too frequently. I should probably acquire some low dosage happy juice .

When I first started using a pv I was probably getting close to the nic od level. In retrospect I feel fairly confident that had a lot to do with my imsomnia. I have no idea what the effect of not having the other chemicals my body was accustomed to in cigarettes had to do with it. Whatever - I'm over it now.

I think everyone goes through some kind of short term weirdness to some degree. In my view it's all been worthwhile. I'm done with cigarettes.

Hi man.. i got the same problems...

my explanation goes like that:

using analogs, the cig companies wants u to get addict to their particular kind, so they add lots and lots of addictive materials...

the nicotine is the cigarette is really the last ingredient u should be worry about..

therefor - your body telling you then he need those materials... its simple ditoxic...

rehab if u wish.. :)

should pass after couple of weeks...

good luck!... don't brake up!..

Kind of makes you wonder what will happen if big tobacco corners the PV and juice market, as I suspect they will. Will we suddenly find that we crave e-liquid like we craved their tubes full of leaves and additives? Those people employ some serious scientists who know what it takes to get folks addicted. It would be a simple matter to extract the addictive components of tobacco and flavor the juice with them. I don't really think I'm being paranoid, either. They could still get by the FDa because, after all, they took out all the nitrosamines and nasty chemicals that cause lung cancer and disease.

This would be their chance at phasing out all the other products as E-juice becomes their money maker. If anyone complained, they could just point at the coffee industry and remark that their product is addictive also. I'm sure that the FDA has coffee pots all over.

You are right.. and u r not paranoid at tall (sorry for my poor english BTW)

The first company that will take this market ands start develops it will be Rich.... most of the people not aware to this product...

although.. the luck is that produce a analog cigarette is much complicated, and i think that the individual market of juicemaking will grow... like tastyvapor and mstsbakery...

me and you will pay more, to get our juice clean from addictive toxins..

its like that Green world that catching up now.. u can eat regular white bread.. its cheep.. but if u want better taste and health u'll invest 2 more bucks to get black bread with full wheat and all that healthy ......

im not worried.. :)

I have restless leg syndrome and have had it for years due to an illness called Tardive Diskenesia which makes your muscles contract on their own and I noticed that the first few days with my e-cigs that the effect would come and go during the day so I ordered a low mg nic content juice for vaping in the evening and find that the effect of restless leg syndrome is much less now and I Am sleeping better now that I don't smoke regular tobacco now and haven't for the 2.5 weeks I've been vaping now.
When you feel your legs starting to move or you get the feeling in your stomach I would cut out the vaping for an hour or so or move down to a lower nic level for a while until it goes away.

I had similar issues about 2 weeks after i gave up analogs...

Try some "Sleepy Time Green Tea Lung Juice" from nhaler.com .
It's got valarian root in it as well as other herbal relaxants....(as well as lowered nic)

I usually drip right on top of whatever I am vaping at the end of the day... 4-6 drops seems to be enough for me- within 1/2 an hour I'm usually out cold...

Taste is a bit strange but you get used to it- definitely does taste like green tea... it's not bad, just not something I'd say I crave.....

I found that I was having "getting to sleep" issues rather than waking up... Since nicotine is a stimulant like caffeine, I have been using a lower mg vape in the evenings and that seems to have done the trick for me.

Sidenote - I can tell you that since I switched over from analogs to vaping I don't wake up groggy and stuffed up in the morning like I used to :)

I found that I have to vape 0nic liquids after 7pm or so or I have horrible insomnia and/or anxiety that prevents me from falling asleep.

Surprisingly I don't get short-tempered or have nic-fits vaping 0nic, even after going several hours without nicotine. During the day though, I'm quicker to suffer a nic-fit, so I stick with 12mg during the day.
