I like seeing them, but I just can't get into the box mods. :(

I enjoy seeing creative art and I admire the folks that come up with some of these designs but my grandkids are already fascinated(and it's a No-No) by Ego's and my MVP so I'd hate to tempt them with a Nintendo controller...;)

It's all good (at least so far) and pretty entertaining. No one is throwing rocks yet.

Also, very educational. We learned about Zoe's undies and that Bad is such a fancy guy he throws his tanks away!

You have a vaping jacket Bad? :D

I cant stop laughing. When I first started lurking ECF I read a lot of stuff posted by Bad.
In my mind he was THE foremost authority on not just the ProVari but just about anything vape related.
His dictation is so refined & on point that I often pictured him sitting in a high leather chair wearing an expensively tailored smoking vaping jacket.

I couldn't imagine ECF without his input!!!

Had to steal borrow this from somewhere

Does it have some sort of filter on the back end to smooth the signal out or is the signal just so rapid that it doesn't show up on a normal oscilloscope (like pbusardos)??

I can't remember if it comes before or after the PMW chip, but yeah, it has something like that.

Although I don't know the details, I'm confident it has filtering. An 800 Hz signal is visible even on the crappiest scope. Keep in mind, it's a lot easier to filter an 800 Hz signal than a 33 hz signal -- you can do it with a much smaller inductor.

If he doesn't I still will picture him with one. Dispensing his wisdom from the Parlor. Telling tales of the Ancient ProVarinati.

Not really a conversation I want to get into in a thread with 'Provari' in the title. I fear the wrath of the Provinati may come down upon me if I start talking about why I use particular devices instead of the Provari.

Anyone considering a purchase likes to know the good and bad to make an informed decision

If you wanted to look for cons-
Higher price point than some, it's not VW if that's what your interested in, it's on the heavy side if you're used to something like an ego type battery. I have heavier apv's but there's a bit of heft to it. If that's bothersome, get the mini.

pros would be reliable, good warranty, solid CS. People use them for years.

I've been around long enough to know if I start pointing out short comings of the Provari, that the Provinati will swarm to defend their sacred device. It's just not something I'm going to get involved in.

With a post like this, you've already insisted to get involved.... Just saying

I've been around long enough to know that most people just use what works for them. Imagine if this thread was called
"I don't use a Vamo, SVD, VTR" Or just replace "Provari" with whatever equipment you use. There are extremes on each end of the spectrum but honestly, does it hurt you so bad that someone else is using a Provari that we feel need to constantly ramble about one particular product? If someone likes a Vamo just let them vape a Vamo. We are all vapors no matter what equipment we choose. Every PV has it's strengths and weakness, we all have a decision to make on what we can or cannot live with... If your proud of your device I see no reason why you shouldn't talk about it good or bad. One main reason why I use a Provari is becasue if it breaks I can get it fixed. Another reason why I use a Provari is because it's one of the few APV's that HASN"T broken in the 14 months Iv'e had it. I have a SVD I love it but it's also my 3rd SVD in 7 months because the buttons wear out on them. I have a Z-max also but it's my second due to the top coming apart on my first one. I do have a vamo also, still the original but I did have to change out the battery spring when I first purchase it. I like a ton of different PV's but it's hard to beat the quality of the Provari. I will continue to buy chinese mods, greek mods, usa mods or whatever else wins my interest.
Let's all just vape and be happy!!!

I'm sure it's been mentioned in this thread, but the majority of people who disparage the Provari do not own one.

EDIT: I understand most disparage the behavior of certain owners of Provaris, and I wish I could offer some kind of blanket apology. But I can't do much to account for everyone else's attitudes and behavior.

The thing is if I suggest an Ego, VTR, or something similar, I don't get attacked for it. If I suggest a ProVari, and the requirements of the OP are met, an argument ensues. I don't think that a ProVari is perfect for everyone, but sometimes it fits the situation. So, for me, I now stick to answering specific questions about them, and not recommending them just to avoid the hassle. It's just sad IMO.

I agree with that statement, but I still recommend the Provari if it's warranted. Everyone is different but it does feel pretty good when people come back after recommendations and love what they purchased based on others recommendations. At least you know their listening and getting good information here regardless of what is recommended at any particlular time. If the equipment is right for the user, that's whats important...
