Not all of us! But I hear ya on that one. Anyone, ANYONE, that has their knees in the breeze is awesome in my book.
Of course not all. Some actually will make an effort to let those of us who want to maintain a more spirited pace get past them. And then there's a very few who can actually keep up, but they're pretty rare. But when they're coming the other way, I still wave at 'em, just like I'd say howdy to someone vaping a Provari. :D

Harley is a whole different conversation.
I was making an analogy because I see certain similarities.

Agreed though, any bike that gets you in the wind is a good bike.
But bikes with substantial fairings / windshields are not?

Any vape that you like is a good vape. The problem I have is with those who insist that their vape is the only way or best way to vape and that everyone should vape using that piece of gear.

We must be reading different forums, because I rarely see people with Provari's insist that others have to vape a Provari. In fact, I mostly see people say that Provari's aren't for everyone, and that as long as you love what you vape, that's all they care about.

Many Provari owners own other devices as well.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have some micro coils to build for my new REO's. :D

Lol, yeah, when I want to go out for a nice ride, it's pretty bad getting stuck behind some HD's. I had one pull out a road ahead of me and Roar thru all his gears- and settle down to be doing like only 40 mph Haha.

I believe it's a reaction to the cliquish nature of Provari owners

How are we any more cliquish than the REOnauts? :)

and the fact that they seem to think their PVs are perfect and no other company could ever make anything better. They kinda remind me of Harley riders; they're in denial that anyone else could possibly a better product.

But here's the thing... it's not that I think my Provari is the best product. It just happens to be the best product FOR ME. :) There's an awful lot of projection going on in these threads!

    With tongue firmly in cheek........

REOnauts are like old school wide receivers. They catch the ball in the endzone for the winning touchdown, drop the ball to the ground and walk away like they've been there before.

ProVari owners are like the current wide receivers who catch a 5 yard fade route for a first down. Slam the ball down, beat their chest, give a primal yell and give a First Down signal like they just won the Super Bowl...

I'll absolutely admit to finding some amusement in provoking a Provarinati when I see "that" person pop up. It goes without saying that not all Provari owners are like this at all, but yeah the ones who come in all irrational and fanatical can be amusing as hell.

This is the internet after all; why so serious eh?

I can't even read a REALLY well known member's posts anymore because the dude just flat out "bends" facts and has turned into a Provari spin machine. He insinuated that I would blow my face off using a 10A battery to fire a .8Ω coil. Needless to say the context of that remark was pretty much meant to "spin" things into buying a Provari. The guy has turned completely absurd and there is moot point in conversation with him anymore; becuase he no longer listens and converses, he preaches.

Honest to god, the first time i used my provari i cried. No lie.

That is a REAL quote from another passionate Provari owner in another thread... pure awesome.

    I heart the internet.

Remember folks, the Provari Mini might be a $200 700mAh VV device; but it is forged from the harvested tears of Chuck Norris.

So the thread title reads "I don't use a Provari".
    I don't either!!!!!
    I ABUSE my Provari!!!
It goes to work with me everyday. It goes hunting, fishing, boating, snowboarding with me. It gets muddy. Dropped in snow, rain, water, sand and dirt.
I drop it......all the time. It has fallen from upwards of 20 feet onto concrete, twice. I have had to back out a broken carto and a vivnova tank with needle nose pliers from the 510 connection after each of those two drops.
    It has outlived 2 ego 900 mah's, 2 twist, 1 lavatube and a SiD.
It is a year and a half old and looks great and has failed me ZERO times.

I'm an abusive vaper, its not a delicate flower that needs to be held with white gloves and I don't treat it that way.
So at the end of the day when I'm covered in dirt and sweat, I shall whip out my provari, look down my nose and vape like a snobbish, pretentious SIR and you can tell me all about how I spent too much!!!!

Give me a break lol!!!!

I bought my mini for $159. I just checked Provape's site, they are still selling them at the same price for the satin silver mini...

Very true.... And for that $160 I can't vape a thing. Because I need batteries, a charger, a delivery system...etc...etc..It add's up. The minimum I charted a ProVari with appropriate charger, batteries and such was the 219.00 they charge for the starter kit. And for that I get one PV and one ProTank 2.

For $45.00 and some juice I can start vaping my MVP'2 out of the box. I could buy 5 MVP 2's with 5 I-Clear 30's for $225.00. I could use each MVP 2 for two days but it on a charger and rest it for 8 and charge each unit once every 10 days. I would only be using each one for 1 day out of 5, so my wear and tear on the units goes down as well.

Even if I calculated my charge cycles 33% lower than what is rated for the LiPo battery installed, (200 charges) that still equates to 2000 days or nearly 5 and 1/2 years. And that's based on a full level of discharge. Of course the installed LiPo will lose about 10% capacity per year like any LiIon, so by the end of my 5 years, my MVP's would only hold about 1300 mAh, or the same equivalent charge as a brand new high capacity 18350's. So in 5 years I go from the equivalent of 18650's to 18350's and with the MVP's USB pass through I can vape while charging so 1300 mAh on an MVP isn't the same as swapping out batteries.

I've never argued the build quality of the ProVari. In my opinion it is second to none. But after the warranty period, a single repair for a ProVari is 75% the cost of a new MVP. It's not the build quality I have an issue with, it's the fact that a ProVari requires a nearly 5 year return of investment when compared to my MVP's.

That's a pretty long time. Now, when you look back when ProVape started, someone who purchased a ProVape product in 2010, they have gotten their return of investment rather quickly. I used to wash an 8080KRD regularly when I started vaping in 2010. (I relapsed and went back to cigs for several years). At $20 a battery, I went through $100 in batteries alone pretty quickly. A ProVape 1 or ProVari would have been a no brainer back in 2010. I could have made back my investment in less than a year AND have unbelivable vape quality at the same time.

2014 is completely different. The ProVari hasn't changed. It's still great. But everyone else has stepped up their game. Who would have "thunk it" that in 2013, I could get a 2600 mAh VV/VW all in one package like the MVP2 for less than $45.00? Add to that, the fact that the vape quality of a mod like an MVP is so close to that of a ProVari, that many ProVari users use MVP's as their backups or out and about vapes means the vape quality gap has narrowed significantly in 4 years. The ProVari quality is still there, but the quality of it's competitors has lengthened my ROI from 1 year to 5 years. And thats a simple truth.

well, i own a windows machine, a mac, and a google phone...and i drive a dodge... And i use a provari. Not sure what that says about me.

I own a provari because i wanted something reliable and something that i don't have to tinker with. I tinker with enough other things... I just don't have the need to tinker with my vape gear. Some people love to tinker. I don't. That's fine. I also didn't want to spend one billion years figuring out what to get.

I don't think i'm better than anyone else because my pv may be more expensive. I mean, c'mon.. So i spent $100 more. I realize that might not be in everyone's budget, but since when does someone's worth come down to a pitiful $100-some either way? Gimmie a break. That's insulting.

    amen!!!!!! This exactly!!!!!!!!!!
