I was wondering... Why use "they hold their value" as a selling point?

I bought mine used, with a black satin finish, blue LED, the 18650 extension and a used battery included, for $100. That's a little less than half what I would have paid for a new one with the same features.

The guy I bought it from was local. He had used vaping to quit smoking, then moved to 0 nic, then quit vaping altogether. He was selling the Provari and several other PV's.

Could be a number of reasons. Some people decide that they prefer to use a bottom feeding box mod like a Reo. The Reo has as large of a following as the Provari and costs nearly as much as a one.

The Reo doesn't have as large a following, but at least part of that is that you have to be patient to get one. Often, if you go to the Reo website, there are none for sale. Zero. He'll put out a batch, and they'll sell out right away, and then until the next batch comes out, you can't get one.

I'd be interested in a VV Reo Woody - but what are the chances I can actually buy one?

I would also be happier with them if they didn't make you stack batteries. One good 18650 battery beats the heck out of any set of stacked batteries.

I didn't know you were an Asian lion. How'd it taste?

I am not an Asian Lion. But canine tastes a bit like chicken.

Of course, hyenas are killed and left to rot. I only kill them, because I hate them...

The default color for the LED display is red, with blue and green LED colors offered for $15 additional. The supplier charges Provape $15 more for the blue or green LED, so Provape only charges this additional amount to those customers who desire one of these LED colors.

I find it easy to believe that they have to pay a little more for the other LED's. But I simply don't believe it's anywhere close to an extra $15. Nobody, anywhere, is paying $15 for a small 3 digit LED display.

Most of that $15 is profit for the extra trouble. I'm fine with that, but dislike the pretense that "They are doing at cost, not making a dime, they have to charge that much extra!".

Ya, I guess you're right. But as a ProVari Owner

View attachment 300077

I decided to buy my ProVari and VOLUNTEER my time for nearly two years for abused and neglected kids. Worth a lot more than throwing my money at some "charity" hoping a kid would even see a dime. So if anyone, ProVari owner or not, would truly like to help a kid, try signing up for CASA (not to be confused with CASAA, which we should all band together and join)

So shocking, I know, that even ProVari owners love homeless kids. ;)

See what I mean? A $159 mod that isn't even flush mounted without an adapter. That's crazy to me.

The AK 47 of the vaping world is the MVP. Effective, cheap and durable.

you know there are toppers of varying diameter, and no one mod out there will fit without adapter, right? Have seen a protank in an MVP without a ring? And then seen it in a provari? Dude you are just acting provacative and uninformed.

A Stark name with a Lion sigil. GRRM is not impressed.

EddardinWinter is a reference to his death, killed by my house. Winter = Death.

I guess expecting an MVP owner to pick up on a reference to "the Lion in Winter" and with such subtle nuances to the Song of Ice and Fire is asking too much...

Better luck next time.

LOL. Protank. Come on, man. Who would top their mod with a Protank.

Seriously though, I'm not even necessarily talking about the wonky diameter. A floating center pin might help it from looking so hideous.

well, for some, the use of a mod to vape with is about not smoking,,,,,,,not about looking cool. I use an Iclear30 because it works, I like the warmer vape, and they are easy to change the heads on.
