People sometimes seem much nicer in person than online...In person no one ever calls my MVP "Chinese Junk" or my wifes Ego "A waste" and I would imagine, even though I don't own a provari, No one directly accuses its users of high brow elitism.....In the real world there's a lot of support and a lot less Snarkery. I try very hard not to get caught up in the negativity that the internet. its anonymity, and Forums in general sometimes seem to breed. I always try to be respectful and employ the original Golden Rule when dealing with folks whom I may share a difference of opinion with. I love my MVP2 for all it does for me and I will continue to recommend it to people as a fine intermediately priced device But if a person asks me for my opinion on top flight units- Provari would be amongst the best I could offer and For ease of use to a newbie wanting the best.. Provari wins hands down. Right now I'm on a serious juice hunt and thats were my extra cash is going but at some point I may invest in a mini, who knows. But For now I'm enjoying being free of BT for the first time since being a teenager and I'm doing it on my MVP2..:)

There is one BIG downside to owning a Provari that no one seems to talk about...

You love it soooo much after you get one, you start looking for other things just as good... and so you end up spending thousands and thousands of dollars because you got the Provari and fall in love with vaping because of it:).

I'm going to have to make it over there sometime. Road trip in my future I guess. I started researching his mods after someone in here recommended it for reverse battery protection/dna30 and bam, another whole new world out there to research!! His mods seem to be really well thought out but I see his "blemished" mods will only be available in the retail store and not online. Yep, roadtrip!!!

It would be worth a trip for sure! They have a lovely lounge area, sometimes even do a vape night type thing. Good roadtrip! Well i guess it depends on where your tripping from! Lol

I love my MVP and my 808's as well as my Provari, they all work for me in different circumstances. It's ALL good :)

We get what your saying but many people use "kicks" in their mech. It changes everything you said.
Baditude said:
That essentially makes a mechanical a regulated mod. What's the point other than it gives you the option to go both ways? If you use a Kick full-time, why not just get a regulated mod in the first place?
I have mods with and without kicks... as do many others.
This reply does not answer my question.

I bought my used Provari with scratches from a mechanic ... probably was dropped a few times.

works like a boss

My favorite ProVari is one I bought used and was well used and abused before I bought it and it still works flawlessly. It's my all day, everyday carry device. That and a spare battery and a bottle of juice and I'm good to go.

My V2 Mini, however, which I bought new, has only left the house a handful of times. I'm not afraid dropping it will hurt it, but I don't like it as much as the full sized model and when I go to sell it I would rather not have it be blemished in any way.

One day, when the Grandchild rate of arrival slows some... I could see myself sporting a Black mini but for now it's car seats and kid carriers for us and I'm A-ok with that. Grandchildren > Vaping...:)

This reply does not answer my question.

because sometimes you want a clean looking device with regulation. I'd argue that most of the best looking PV are mechanicals. I'm looking into a kick and 18350 for my kylin. 2.5 inches of variable wattage sounds like a sweet stealth/night out setup

This whole thread reeks of the Mac vs PC and Android vs iOS debates that plague the interwebs on an astronomical scale.

It's my personal opinion (opinion being the important word here) that, as with the Mac vs PC arguments, debating such issues is pointless. You cant really debate subjective things such as this - personal preference is what's going to rule outright. What works for some, doesn't for others. So somebody has a Provari. That doesn't make them stuck up or superior, it just means that they like the product and it works for them. I have an MVP, who cares?! It's personal preference. I liked and still like the product.

C'mon guys, enough of this now. I fear it could give a rather negative impression to the newer members (which I am one of) - it's not the friendliest of threads and thus, when reading this, the forum doesn't look like the friendliest of places to be. And in retrospect, shouldn't all Vapers be happy about an ever-expanding community and understanding of e-cigs and Vaping?

Just my two cents, is all.

Your attempt to be reasonable and make everyone get along has angered me. Flame this man!! ^^^

1,132 posts into this thread, and you quote post 93, asking us to flame him. Go stuff yourself.

Edit: Besides there are more people later on that deserve it more. Baditude has been especially reasonable these past few days...should we roast him instead? :p

Oh come on, that was funny:p.
I know, which is why I was editing that post while you were quoting me. :D

You may not realize this, but you have almost perfectly described a ProVari Mini.

When I read that Obama meme in my head all I could hear was Obama's voice. "uhhhh....if.....you do..uhhhhh...own a uhhh....provari....then uhhhh....let them uhh...own a provari"
After listening to the pre-game interview with him, the OP should add, "...and if you've lost your ProVari, we're grandfathering that in, so you'll get it back."

Anyone know where I can get a "Stopped Smoking-Started Vaping" banner for my signature that won't violate ECF size requirements...

Remember, you asked for it.
