I use my mods out in public all the time, and 95% of the time no one pays any attention to me. The few that might and ask what it is, they are generally interested to learn more about it: how does it work, how much did it cost, where can they get one, etc. I've yet to see another vapor out in public in my city, other than in the local vape shop.
I use either a Mini Provari, an MVP, or a Vmod (Reo-like bottom feeder mod) when out of the house. All three are durable mods that fit easily in my front pants pocket when I'm not vaping. All three can be used at least 8 hours with a single battery. I usually carry a spare in a plastic battery case just in case I need to change batteries with the Provari or Vmod. The MVP has a built-in battery which can last up to 3 days on a charge. The last pic is a Smoktech Gripper, a mechanical mod which I use primarily for stealth vaping at the cinema.

This was and is my first bottom feeder mod, so there was a learning curve involved in learning to "squonk" properly. The technique can vary depending upon the box mod. With this one you tilt it sideways, allow some juice to fill the drip well that's located just below the cone, turn it right side up, and then squonk. At first I was afraid of squonking too much and flood the atty, but then I was getting dry hits which are not pleasant. Eventually I learned to be more aggressive.Wow! That Vmod looks like the PERFECT size for a pocket. A few quick questions, Baditude:
Do you miss VV on it?
Are there any problems with leakage with the Vmod (or any other bottom feeder generally)? For example, you pump some juice in, take a couple of hits and you gotta run so you put it back in your pants pocket. Is there any chance that the juice will leak out of the tip or otherwise?
Is it much of a hassle to switch juices?
(Sorry Flavourful - don't mean to hijack your thread.)

The top cone attachment is responsible for keeping the entire unit assembled, and also provides some protection to the drip atty from any physical abuse. If not hand tightened snug, it can allow a little leakage to occur on the inside of the mod. There's no chance of leakage from the atomizer itself; excess juice runs back down into the drip well and into the tank via gravity. I can get several hits from one squonk. It fits safely in a shirt or front pants pocket, never had any leaks. The 18650 IMR battery sometimes can last me up to 2 days on this.
It is a slightly troublesome process to change juices. To get to the 9 ml size tank, one must completely disassemble the VMod, unscrew the original tank, and then either refill it or exchange it with another. The entire process only takes 3 - 4 minutes, but its certainly not as fast as switching out from one cartotank to another on other mods.
If you use the right resistance atomizer of your preference, you likely won't miss variable voltage. The only issue I have, and its a minor one just because I can be lazy, is the time it takes to change tanks to change to a different flavor.
With that kinds time spent you deserve vaping in heaven juices. My first 2 orders of juices was 50 diff ones. And now the fun part...it took me around 3 hours of reading to come up with this list of samples.
Ahhh..i meant atomizers, not cartomizers (will edit post). I got the ones you recommended:
510 Standard Resistance Atomiser [VE9] - £4.49 : Vape Escape
Vaping in heaven eh? Link pleaseI googled it and got a few results.
50 different juices...puts my 14 into perspective!
haha right. Thanks for the tips, I know that everyone takes ages finding their favourite juices.
Is there a thread where experienced vapers list their favourites?
I will certainly be looking into DIY. First I need to figure out what kind of flavours I like
I don't even know how I'm going to begin with 14 flavours, 3 tanks and an atomizer!
