This thing lasts all day and I don't have to bring 4 diff ego batteries if gone all day LOL I vape a lot.
I put a big vivi nova on it for my all day stuff and can change the voltage to get the best possible flavor/vape.
It even tells you how many puffs you take in and how long the puff is haha.

The eVics retail for $130 and I promise you the cheapest price is on corevape (auctions) even with shipping it's still the cheapest you will find anywhere.

It's made by joyetech. very high quality and not a knock off.

Most everyone told me that the best tank is the vision vivi nova. If it doesn't say vision, it's a knock off. The knock offs can taste burnt.

So if you want the most awesome vape, get yourself an evic, a vision vivi nova and some ejuice...enjoy!

I still say they have potential but still need to have some better firm ware. I absolutely hate the 10 second cut off. I see it as a mediocre preforming mod with some cool features. I will give em they came along way from when it was released but IMO it still has a long way to go.

I have never had an issue with the cutoff, I didn't even know what it was.

I think they should make an evic pro model. Up the limits, build it up a bit and keep all the cool stuff. I love not having to go into a menu to adjust watts, ohms or switch between VV/VW/MVR VV/MVR VW. It also now has by far the most useful screen since it displays watts/ohms/volts and battery level all at once.

I more so like it because it's the only VW I have (besides a kick) that doesn't noticeably pulse.

What I do like about it is they make improvements as you mentioned so it dose have potential. Grab a DNA 20 mod it has all the features you mentioned and no limitations. But it also does not have upgrade able soft and firmware.

Honestly, you just need someone to hack the software and re-code it.
I don't like having to trick something in to working how I like it. Pulse its not reasonable to have the average person to hack something.
As it stands. There are much better preforming mods out there for around the same price. But I will say again the eVic is a cool idea and Im sure it will get better but I just cant say its all that at this time.

I have a eVic, but I'll have to wait 6 months from now, and see if it still works or not. I don't have an OHM meter to see how accurate is is. According to Busardo, it's not the greatest in that department.

I do like that its up-gradable from my computer. I also like it that they changed the home screen to show either OHM's or a clock, if one so desires. I don't find the MVR record keeping a valuable asset though.

Edit: They also seem to be fragile. Someone already posted a pic of their broken eVic that rolled off a desk onto a carpet.

This may be true, but:

1) Nobody is producing a DNA-20 mod commericially that you can just order and it comes in a few days, and
2) Not everyone can afford $250+ for a mod, or have the skills to build one on their own.

The eVic, at right around $100 with all the features it has, is a GREAT mod for most people who are more interested in high-performance vaping than looking for "bragging rights", Vaping Jewelry, or status symbols...

Just sayin'...

Pbusardo did not make that statement. The comments he did have were on V1.0 Software and he revisited for a short review of Rev 1.1

The eVic is within fractions reading ohms as most devices are allowing for a .1ohm ^v reading
Considering the nearing 50,000 units already out, the miniscule representation of fragility is highly misrepresented as well s anyone but the owner of the broken device knowing the Full Details resulting in said damage.

Out of context and second hand is of little value without evidence of fact.

Not quite as fragile as it would seem. I see this posted a lot and I drop mine or knock it over quite a bit. To test it right now, I held it over my head and dropped it on the cheap thin carpet in my spare room. It bounced it about 6" in the air and didn't break, crack, chip and it fired fine immediately after.

I'd be curious about what kind of carpet they have.

I saw the voltage graphs he posted on his video, and where it starts showing inaccuracy.

The eVic just seems a little too cheapo and silly. I mean, if you're enjoying it and it's keeping you off the cigs, that's awesome. For the money I'd rather have a Vamo. No, it doesn't have the fancy screen but it does everything I want and I've dropped it a thousand times with no issue.

This discussion makes me wonder what a mod says about a person. Does it describe your personality? Is that why people get so defensive of their mods? Is that why people get so attached? Does having a Vamo mean I'm cheap and simple yet durable and sturdy? Does a girl ever want to be described as "sturdy?" hehehe.

If you go by actually watching the readings in any of the reviews ...the vamo, zmax and all it's ilk are inaccurate too. They also don't hit their advertised limits without stacking batteries which is generally not how they are used. The provari is the only device I have seen actually nail it on accuracy.

I have an evic, a sigelei zmax, a vamo, a provari, a legacy, a temon, a g16, some other crap and an EA on the way. What does this say about me? Besides that I spend too much money.

A Provari is what I'm saving for. Don't get me wrong, my eVic is currently working OK, but it's not exactly the tops in either quality or accuracy. I paid $50 for mine, otherwise I would have passed it up.

And again the guy was trying to single out 1 unit for a common inconsistency which is actually a norm in the current configurations. and slaimed pb stated - According to Busardo, it's not the greatest in that department.

The Voltage graphs have nothing to do with reading Ohms

I must have missed that .5 sec in the hours of his reviews I have watched with interest.

The provari is certainly a nicer device. That just doesn't mean the evic is a bad one. I don't think it's any better or worse than the rest of the chinese VW's, it's just that only one that is different besides looks.

In a van ............down by the river

Almost.

Quantum Vapor has one for $72.97 with free shipping.
Discount code is "happyvapreday"

I'll wait until I get one to post a review, but it's funny how everybody get all emotional and defensive about their mods.
Sure, the Provari is sick, and built like a tank, but the LED 2 number screen is laughable compared to the eVic, don't you think?

Do I really care if it's made out of unobtainium, no...I just want it to work.

If you want something really cool that nobody else has, get one of THESE.

Like I said, we can argue which is better looking, or lighter, or shinier, or more light saber looking, but at the end of the day, I just want it to work.

I'm happy you like yours OP.
