I still have the 5-bay version and use it a couple of times a year to charge up all the 510 batteries that I may just use again, maybe.

That's not an x-ray. It's the little tank cartridge for a 510-t. I used mine a few times and then just started dripping on the atty instead. Just like I had done with my regular 510 and 306 atties.
LOL! my god, the effort that it took!

I remember when I use to have to go to the store and pick out a shiny new box, go to my car and smack the box on my hand for a bit and then unwrap it. Id then have to blow away the stray bits of organic matter and pull one of the 20 perfect little sticks from the box and put it in my mouth. Then id use this archaic device to set fire to the end of my pretty white stick and suck its burning matter into my lungs.

I have not been at this for as long as some of you...I missed the tea bag years thankfully.

I do remember my early days. Many of the threads on here were about how to boil and clean cartos. I spent many a weekend with cartos baking in the oven to dry.

Then we had those huge ego sized batteries that allowed us to progress to the ce2-ce3-ce4 days. Remember those that you filled with a blunt syringe...boy were those a PIA.

My wife and I finally found Kanger T2s...a god sent that she uses to this day...while I moved on with the rest of the crowd.

I still have my very first silver 808 battery. It died long ago, but I put an old carto on it and framed it. That is the device that got me off cigarettes...so I have a soft spot in my heart for it.

I'm still pretty much a newbie, but i feel exactly that way about my eRoll that I got back in January -- and when I needed to RE-transition back to vaping this summer, I got my eRoll junk back out of the drawer and used it again -- all the ejuice I own tasted weird to me, but the eRoll muted the flavor enough that i could tolerate it, until I built up my "taste" for it again and could go back to my Kayfuns. :D

BTW, I've been meaning to ask you... your avatar, that guy looks like Mr Reed on Person Of Interest... is that who that is?

Ego T Tank Cartridges. They were horrible in my opinion. Hooked onto a atty that poked through the hole to drain the liquid to the atty.
That is exactly what they looked like. I probably have one somewhere in the house but, to lazy to search for it.

I started vaping with the eGo-C system in April 2012. As I'm sure you know, that was the next development after the 'T' tank system. I made it work for a few months and I quit smoking with it, but man was it maintenance intensive. Pretty expensive too, but from what I understood at the time it was a big improvement over the T. It was a great vape though when everything was working right.

I looked it up, so I guess that's Michael Rennie; he looks AMAZINGLY like that Caviezel guy, who plays Mr Reed on Person of Interest.

Andria

Oh, so that's Michael Rennie! Thanks!
I only knew the name.

*sings*
Michael Rennie was ill the day the earth stood still, and he taught us where we stand.
And Flash Gordon was there in silver underwear, Claude Rains was the Invisible Man.....

Yup. Those were the days :D

(now I wonder who is going to sing along.... :D )

I will.

Those giant red lips on the video really freak the grandkids out.

The only other thing that Tim Curry ever did that I really liked him in was the role of Darkness in Legend.

Tee hee, thanks for singing along, @DancingHeretik :)

Yeah, I remember watching the movie for the first time in... I think ... 1978 when I was 18. Bought the record (record, yeah!), sang along and tried to understand the words. Ok now, that was in the times before internet and any possibility to find out the lyrics to a musical. AND I am German, so English is not my native language. Hehehe... that was fun :D - Every time we went to watch the movie (that was a regular pastime in those days) we would understand some more words of the songs. Except the one that Meatloaf sings - forget it. Just forget it.

As a matter of fact, I was in a vacation club hotel a few years ago and they decided to do a show "Rocky Horror Picture Show". Of course I signed up as one of the guest volunteers, to do a few dances on stage (with others, of course) and be the extras. Boy, did we have a ball :D And the young people who work for the club and put on the show, they were quite impressed that I can still sing along most of the songs, word for word. I got the role of the woman in the old couple in the "Janet" song scene - because I know exactly when to lip-sync "Janet". - Wow, that sure sure felt like a time warp :D

Let's do the time warp again

He was horrifically scary as a serial killer on a 2-part episode of Criminal Minds, a few years ago. Amazing actor. But RHPS was the role that really cemented him into *my* consciousness. :D

Yes that was a nasty role. And, everything else I've seen him in, he's just kind of wimpy. It's a shame he never got to show theat RHPS or Darkness attitude in anything else.

I usually only come on ECF in the evening...sorry I'm late.

You guys have had an amazing time with my avatar over the last 24 hours...glad I could provide the entertainment.

The Day the Earth Stood Still (the original) made the year before I was born (1951) is one of my all time favorite movies...yeah, I'm a geek.

First time I've seen this thread and looks like all the "great" vaping adventures have been mentioned with the exception of two. I even did a search on the thread and can't believe neither one of these were mentioned.
