I was considering the groove as well but that seem that runs down the middle concerns me considering juice spills. It's a shame. 15 watts and a 5 amp limit is pure win.

I haven't heard of anyone getting juice inside from the seam. The VW feature and the 3800 mah battery plus the top mounted fire button makes it my favorite box PV.:)

Raise the bridge or lower the river.

With the emergence of LR Atomizers 5amp Vaping is a luxury but not a necessity.
If you like high wattage vaping just buy a 1.5 OHM Single Coil Atty/Clearo/Carto Or buy a RBA and build it at 1.0

If you can vape one of those 1.5 Ohm Single Coils at 5V [4.8v Actual] on your MVP and that's not enough. You are made of much sterner stuff than me! and you need to go out and buy a 5Amp Mod

I really don't need need that much power tbh. I usually make 2 ohm coils that I vape at 4-4.2 volts anyway lol. I've just been reading about people who make like. 8 ohm coils and vape them at really high watts and they say it is the ultimate. I already have a mechanical so I'm covered there. I'm happy I got the mvp on the way. No regrets. I've been thinking the cell phone battery charger feature may come in handy someday. There are days my wife are out any about and the phone had died on me a couple times. I love metal. Just the sturdiness of it and the mvp does look better to me than the groove. Plus it's more small and pocket friendly.

I've got the MVP, and I love it! I haven't had much experience with VV, but no ohms checker onboard doesn't really bother me, as I just dial in what tastes good. I do have a multimeter, so I occasionally check coils for resistance, but most everything I've tested falls into the range that they're advertised as. GotVapes just got in a stainless version of the Groove, if you're concerned about the plastic factor on that...

This is a very interesting trend, do you think that integrated batteries are going to take over the market?

It takes the Expense of Batteries and Chargers out of the picture. Also it allows the manufacturer to control the battery equation and avoid damage to Pv circuit boards due to inferior quality batteries.

The Stainless MVP has it's place. Me I prefer smaller form factor of the Ivape MVP and the more elegant look.. I also am vaping in the average range.

But I can see that the MVP has it's place too.

Much as I like my MVP, I don't think the integral battery models are going to eliminate other power sources. There's too much tooling already in place, and too many options already out there to just go away.

But I do think they serve a useful purpose. Many (myself included) don't necessarily see themselves vaping forever (Heh, I'm still on the fence!), but as a path and tool to cessation. So why go with the $100 tubes, plus batteries, plus charger, if an integrated battery model can provide the same utility, without the likelihood of being able to use it for the next year? They may be non-smokers and non-vapers in that time.

Devices like the MVP, the Groove, heck, even the Spinners and Twists, can provide enough power for a good vape (when matched with the right resistances), and could last a year -- which might be all they're looking at.

Take over? No, I don't think so.

Take a good chunk of the non-hobbyist? Maybe

Feel free to use it - I'll pm you with the royalty contract

But, really, there are those who don't want to fiddle at all with gear, other than charging, and those who don't want to make a big investment in what may not be a long term pursuit. Why should they be denied the pleasures of "advanced" devices?

Just be careful plugging it into the cords, when they first came out , Eric the female end was wobbly, I am sure they corrected that.
Keep an eye on your counter as well, as it will do an auto dryburn at 999 puffs, freaked me out,LOL!!!!Lasts about 4-6 seconds turns on on its own.

I'll definitely be carefully when charging. Lol about the 999. Pbusardo mentioned that on his review.

I'll report on the quality of the charge connector once I get it.
