Since we're dreaming here. Hopefully they'll do away with the 10 second cut off, or up it to 15 or so. It's really the only thing I hate about mine.

Soooooo.....

MVP V3 should have ohm checker, 6 volts, and how about adding some way to attach a lanyard?

We can dream - why can't the designers??

Been playing around with some tin... and this is the prototype for an MVP cradle. While not fancy (hey, it's called a prototype ) it's so far working OK. Back and bottom are lined with felt, and the bottom is bent so it grips the MVP.

I'm thinking about making another, and eliminating the metal straps near the top end, and either putting in a loop of elastic or velcro...

Picture 14.jpg

No, I'm not particularly interested in going into production, other than for myself, just thought I'd share the concept.

high mah PT VV besides MVP?

I found these but am like %100 set on an iTaste MVP.

There's something called the Tech box mod or something that's older that I can't find info on but didn't really hear good things about.

There are PT Tube mod options for the Provari at Provape, the Saber Touch, and The Darwin, but are all like twice or 3X an MVP and bigger and might not even hold as much battery.

SmokTech Groove: 3800mah but can't vape while charging, bigger than mvp, plastic.

Then there are these which are VV, but only change in large increments and are large. I don't want:

Power Baby and Daddy: NicFitNation.com - Canadian supplier of e-cig kits, parts, accessories, and e-liquids - Power Baby Mod

Cylapex VV-PCCP Cylapex VV-PCCP (CYPXVVPCCP)

Or you can attach a portable USB PSU to a VV Ego PT like the SLB EGO-V or one of the battery-less VV PT Ego like this but always needs a wire and doesn't fine tune volts
Variable voltage 510/eGo USB passthrough

Is there anythign better than MVP for battery life that has VV and is compact?

This review at 9:13 shows the MVP actualyl has two 2200mah batteries for a total of 4400mah, not 2600mah as advertised. What would posess them to advertise it so much lower than it is if the batteries you're not supposed to see say 2200mah on them and likely aren't falsely branded?

Everyone complains the MVP's optional tank ring overhangs a hair, but they probably couldn't move the 510/ego conenctor over to the center more because of existing internals, so better the hair overhang on the ring than a larger box.

A lot of people are excited for the Sigelei Tmax box mod ss vv/vw, but I don't need VW, I don't really need an ohm meter, and the MVP is PT which Tmax isn't.
I heard the MVP vapes slightly lower than the volts you set it to so maybe it's not rms or something I'm not familiar with, but that hopefully will never pose a problem for me.

MVP seems like pure win.

Not at all, I have a feeling he might have "juiced" the button by mistake. I try to make sure I don't get any juice on it and use good non-leaking clearo's with it, but I am a clean freak some may say,LOL

Buttons should be Juice Proof. If you can ruin a button by getting juice on it than that is a inferior quality button.

My new vv Bogger Box comes with a Water Proof Button rated at 1 million clicks. I just won't accept less! Ha Ha

In the video ^ at 9:13 when he finds the batteries are branded at 2200mah, does that mean they're each 2200mah and the mvp is really 4400mah or that the MVP is really only 2200mah and they claim it to be 2600mah?

I searched this and only found it ever mentioned once before here on ecf where someone else saw the same video. Found what seems to be an official manual/pdf that says 2600mah also.

Update: just emailed innokin about this. I'll let yas know. Even if only 2200mah it should last 98% of days with the PT too.

False Advertising lawsuit if it's 2200 and not 2600? Even if 4400 but advertised at 2600 lawsuit? How hard is it to correctly note the mahs of the internal battery?

You guys gotta remember that the game changer bobo is coming out! Or is out already not sure..

From Segelei..

A: Surprise !!!! What;s this? is it a vase ?

B: no,it is vase e cigarette.

Why would someone asking a question exclaim surprise? Whenever I read the descriptions Chinese companies post in my head I hear the voice of the lady I order Chinese food from.

Yes, if series-ed up it would double the voltage, but still be 2200, and if paralleled it would be 4400... Seems like it would be tough to make a suit about it being higher rating than claimed, as there's no harm done. Maybe it's Chinese electricity? Or maybe we've been doing our math wrong all these years?

In any event, I found a "source" for the rumored version with the resistance checker, but have no idea of his reliability. It was on a page at rpadtv.com, by one Raymond Padilla, in his Reviews section - Vaping Diaries #17: Innokin iTaste MVP Review | RPad Productions Inc. Presents RPad.TV

Last paragraph, the "edit" one, is where it is, along with the statement that Innokin would add threading on the "current" version, and add the ohms on the next.

So it seems that many of us now have V1A? :p

^I don't think I'll wait on the current version hoping they update it to read ohms. Sounds like a whole new product, new chip, no? That review was done before the Ego thread were added. The current version accepts ego threads. Why make the ring on the original one not ego threaded is a good question. Make sure you find out which version you buy before buying.

"Seems like it would be tough to make a suit about it being higher rating than claimed, as there's no harm done."

claim: ....yada yada.. the application required that the MVP depleat it's full 2600mah battery to the unprotected (which probably doesn't breach any MVP user guidelines) device taking the power, but instead of ending at 2600mah, the MVP sent 4400mahs ..yada yada.. explosion, lawsuit.

What Amp output chargers are you people using for the MVP.
I guess this is the official manual
http://www.meshweaver.com/temp/vaping/INNOKIN_ITASTE_MVP_USER_MANUAL.pdf

"The device can be charged via standard USB to MICRO USB cables plugged into mains USB chargers with an output up to 1Amps with no issues."

"UP TO 1Amps", shouldn't it give the AT LEAST Amp rating? Can't I plug it into a 3Amp USB and the MVP's protection will just take what it needs?

While i'm on it, so I don't have to search, what's the sort of trick to make USB charge faster by using the right Amp outputs? I thought the device being charged has a protection cap so it can't charge faster by attaching to a port giving more power than the protection cap? Basically the trick is just use an output that at least matches what the device being charged at is capped at? IOW if MVP's capped at 1Amp input for charging, just use a 1Amp and not a .5amp which will take twice as long?

I have a sort of theory I'm curious about if anyone knows:
assuming you can plug anything with protection into a 5Amp output USB and the protection will just take what it needs and you only need one 5Amp charger for everything and anything with protection to think you're keeping it simple, is this true: It's better to match the output with the max the device being plugged in needs because if you like plug something into a 5Amp output that has a protection cap at 1Amp, if the protection were to trip, it would more likely burn out instead of just tripping because there's so much more power going at it which can break/explode things?

I use a 4 port wall wart, 2 amp total, but I expect that's split (hopefully evenly!) between them, so 500 ma per port. But I can charge up to 4 at a time, with no loss of power to each charging device.

I'd imagine the regulator could be the same, but yes, some additional support circuitry to either calculate the ohms back from the measured voltage and current, or to actually add the necessary components to put an "ohm meter" in, whichever's cheaper. But hard to say what path - if any - they take on the next version.

And I didn't wait, either.

"if series-ed up it would double the voltage, but still be 2200, and if paralleled it would be 4400... "

Someone else said: "I could be wrong, but I believe two 2200 mah batteries in sequence does not equate to 4400 mah. I'm pretty sure they are running two batteries as if they were stacked to achieve the higher voltage levels. "

It's probably just series-ed up. We'll know for sure when I get the email.
Still, 2600mah and the passthrough is a lot of compact power.

Two identical batteries in series connection adds their voltages, and the current is still the same. Connecting them in parallel keeps the voltage the same and the current capability is the sum of the batteries. So very true, if series, the current is not 4400, but 2200.

Yah, I agree, probably series. With the higher voltage, you don't have to use any fancy circuitry to get the 4.8, all you have to do is regulate the voltage down, not boost it up. Which would equate to less current draw and longer life between charges.

Looking forward to their response!

Hopefully it'll be here today. It left the San Antonio sort facility this morning but that doesn't mean it's out for delivery. I'm doing priority from now on lol. Anyways once I get it is it better to charge it daily when I get home or till it gets yellow or red? I know with my aw imr it doesn't matter when I charge because there isn't any memory. Are these batts the same type?

I have a provari and electric angel and am debating getting one myself for work and out and about. I may wait because I heard a future version will have an ohm reader. Any one hear about this?

I was kinda curious about the electric angel, how long have you had it? Do you like it? Saw it recently and haven't seen anything on it in here.

I'm in love with it. It's a great mechanical built in Finland (where my mom is from) you can use 18350s 18490s or 18650's and a kick if you so do so choose. Good solid unit.

I've had it since February and there are a few reviews on youtube.
