He sure is and he's proud of it!! All four of our sons were (are)in the service, one is career Marine.

IMO, if you are going to commit a selfless act of time or money, then only do so knowing that there could be other factors involved. You may not be providing the kind of good deed you think you are and may never receive recognition. That, to me, is a truly selfless act.

As the selfless act was not carried out it just seems that to PM Sharon and state why was just retribution for feeling betrayed, even if there seemed to be no betrayal. Things were not what they seemed. Well, how many of us know the circumstances of others, esp those we know in forums?

If some people are angry for being duped then let me ask, did Sharon ask anyone to buy her a GG or take up a collection? That would certainly tip the balance.

Best of luck to Sharon and hubby. Sorry for posting since I was not involved but wanted to add my 'outside' view as someone who believes in, and commits, selfless acts when she can.
