I will try that jmarkus, I make a full wrap around the top piece, but didn't on the lower piece, I'm hoping this is it. I can't remember what I did with the one that doesn't leak

I did the leak test again and its leaking this time, not sure what happened but something isn't right I guess =/
I noticed that in the bottom delrin piece the steel insert protrudes about 0.5mm above the bottom of the delrin piece at the end where the battery connects, I'm guessing this prevents the delrin piece from making a proper seal at the bottom creating the leak. Any thoughts?
Send it back to me ainako. I will make a live video while I will open your package and we will see if something is going on.
I decided to break down the iatty that is working flawlessly and compared the bottom delrin pieces. for the one that doesn't leak the threaded portion of the steel part does not protrude at all beyond the plastic. I'm convinced that what is causing the leak is the protruding steel on the bottom plastic. Imeo you enjoy your holiday, we can get things sorted after you come back.

I see ainako. So maybe its a faulty connector. Can you please ask Bruce to send you an new one? But before you do that please try the connector of the no leacking Iatty to the leaking Iatty and check what happens
thanks a lot tpa. That way I will not be able to first fix the problem that a customer has and then lie to him that all were ok!
My iAtty has leaked every single tank I've put into it. I've tightened everything how it's suppose to be and it leaks so now I have to keep it in a cup over night so the juice doesn't go everywhere. This is getting ridiculous and a little wasteful with juice, I will throw this thing out the window sooner or later.
If you want you can send it to me and I will see if I can figure out whats going on with it for you.
I'm going to keep testing for now. When I'm vaping and it's in front of me just on the table it doesn't leak but when I leave it on that table and I goto work or goto sleep... then it starts leaking. It waits for me to close my eyes or leave the house then it starts messing up the place lol. I'm going to try and find out what's wrong but if I can't I will PM you Zor.
Hey guys, I've had the iatty for a week now, I've made a few atties and even though I tried my best to do everything perfect I did have some random leaks that I couldn't fix.
I think I found out why and maybe you should check out the following details.
The wire ends around the plastics. I realized that the wires should be wrapped around in the same direction the threads fasten. Like this everything fastens much better in place.
Also the wire should have a full round on the plastic, otherwise the plastics are not even. This you can see when you place the top cap and the cone is not straight.
Also i suggest the wick to be somehow longer, makes things a little bit easier, and the cone closed.
Those small details made all the difference for me, no leaking at all, and minimum gurgling. I had a lot of gurgle when it was about to leak.

I've done all those....and still get random leaks. The start for no reason and stop on their own.
I really cant understand those leaks guys. They happen when you hear gurgling? Then blow the Iatty from mouthpiece. But I cant understand silentt's leak. When he leaves Iatty for 5-6 hours alone it leaks. Silentt, from where the leakage comes? Is the wick inside ceramic slots?

I keep getting this really weird one... small drops around the top cap. It really looks like condensation, but it is definitely juice. Only tiny bits, not really enough to care, but it's just strange. No gurgle or anything, no obvious location the juice is coming from, unless it is somehow defying gravity and going up...
This indeed is a strange occurence. I'm just glad mine does not leak. No gurgling either. Just a great awesome vape. Only thing that happens to me is I burn up my wick w/in a day. Will buy the another to remedy that after everyone decides which is the best overall. But it's just one awesome device for me. What is better than an Iatty, UFS or GGTS??? - Nothing IMO You will see other mods I own in my signature. These will be going when I receive my third GGTS.

IT NO LONGER LEAKS!! The culprit was the mouthpiece o-ring. I was using the 4/1,5 ring and replaced it with a 4/2 ring and now it works flawlessly. Thanks to all GGheads for the think tank, Silentt, have you tried replacing the mouthpiece o-ring?
