I envision the next multi atty to be completly different.
It will be more atomizer than cartomizer, more like the UFS in style and design.

The coil connections could be designed like a small fuse holder in a car, take the coil and wick and just pop it in the holder, like a flat fuse, the holders make the connection.

I have already given Imeo a design similar to this a few days ago;)

If replacing the coil was as easy as say replacing a fuse in a car for example I'd be REALLY EXCITED about that design. To me, something like that, with the ability to change out the "coilfuse" without having to disassemble the tank would be THE ultimate iAtty. I could imagine making up several of these coilfuses to carry around in my vapekit and when the coilfuse gets gunky with juice it would be any easy changeover out in the field.

Heck I've got enough wick and wire to make several thousand setups. I wouldn't even bother to clean and do a dry burn to get the coil ready to re-use.

This cant be made repent because I had to make ready fuses and they would cost too much. Also my designs dont include a spong like other atomizers to feed liquid. I use tanks with pure liquid that is around atomizer. No reason to vape spongs. These are old methods that were used when e-cigs came to market 3 years ago. Also changing wire is not something we do every day, maybe once a week. But if you are bored to do that (if you are in bad mood), multiatty will give you other options, no worries:)

It seems like it might work. Most of the ideas that I've had could be made with a paper clip. Some would require specially made pieces. The coil wick thing isnt that big of a problem for me, I haven't played with it yet.

Imeo is a fan of fabricated metal and plastic parts, he'll find a way to do it if he thinks its important.

Here are 2 things that have improved my iAtty.

1 is add a 3/4 inch piece of 14ga hypodermic needle to the top of the cone, it fits tight, stays put, and provides instant adjustment for the cone by removing the driptip.

2nd I put a piece of a cartomizer tube (that holds the ceramic cup) into the the iAtty top plastic, it holds the cup perfectly it no longer is any effort to remove and replace.

Hi Imeo;

I guess you're talking about the ultrasonic ecig in the first part of your reply.

I'm just thinking that it's hard for me to get a coil in place where some of the R/wire doesn't come out of the ceramic. That's my biggest complaint and it's about me not so much the iAtty. Just thought the plug n play of the theoretical "coilfuse" like Pappa was talking about would be good for me.

Now if "multiatty" allowed for an even quicker changeout of the coil wick with no possibility if the R/wire coming out of the ceramic that would be great.

Cannot wait until you do your video and show us the new iAtty v2.

Any suggestions on how to get SS mesh and kanthal to work on a 5v mod?? I know I have seen Imeo vape HV on the Iatty...

As soon as I hit the button....the kanthal immediately glows. Would nichrome work better?

Almost all the coils I use in the Iatty are HV......Increase the resistance; have you tried .13mm kanthal?

I just received my iAtty today! I purchased one from a guy overseas that is selling some brand new ones and it is the real deal. I was cautioned a bunch and took all of the necessary precautions and it turns out the guy is legit. If anyone else is interested, below are some pics. It only took a week and a half to get it. That is almost how long it would take id i bought a used one here in the US. I must say though, they are a bit pricey as he wants $160 for them. Supply and demand I guess... Anyone feel free to PM me if you are interested.
