Hmmm... I am thinking Imeo will blow our socks off with this "multi-atty". I have some gueses but I am sure the real thing will be better than anything that can be guessed at though. Be assured if I could make coils, I would have an iAtty 1 in my gear but since I can't, the UFS is my prize!

But just as Imeo is making the VV an add-on which will allow you to simply remove it and have the normal mechanical functioning, I am betting the multi-atty will too have a number of options for us! It is always exciting to live in the GG world!

I am so excited about iAtty2 as I love my iAtty now but I will say that with a price tag the same as a new SSGGTS it must be amazing as it gets to justify the new price tag....

I just received the new ce2 iatty wick in the mail. Can anyone tell me if you are supposed to double it up or just use it in the coil as a single strand as the original wick was done? It seems thin...

I've read of people double or even trippling the e2 wick but I havn't trid it myself.

It's working well with out being doubled but the resistance is high because I used the same amount of NO resistence wire as the thick wick and i had to make extra coils. I definately like the lower ohms around 1.8. This came out at 2.6 because of the extra coils around the thinner wick.

The wick should have no effect on the resistance that is all I'n the length diameter and type of wire. The same sized piece of wire should be the same resistance weather you get 1 wrap of the wick or 5

I could have sworn that I read that the more coils around the wick the higher the resistence. I guess that's a newb for ya! I'm getting better and better at this everyday. Waiting for Imeo's response in a PM but I think I'm gonna try to double up that new CE2 wick next time. McMaster-Carr is sending me a whole spool of Resistance and no resistance wire so I'll make as many as needed till I get it perfect. It's addictive tinkering with this thing. Anyone know how to get on the list to get one of the first new iAtty's (iAtty II)or Multi-Atty or whatever it's gonna be called?

That is true if you are using the same diameter wick. The reason would be more coils equal more length. However when you go to a smaller diameter wick you needmore wraps for the same length r wire.

I'm using the CE2 wick, doubled, in mine. It works great, 2 days in now..
To triple the wick, you'd probably have to enlarge the ceramic cup slots, but doubled seems just fine to me atm

I have spare top and bottom plastics as well as a spare base for iAtty. Will iAtty v2 use these same parts?
