eyebrook, I hope rope and wire will come soon so maybe Cam is right on this

If Iatty works ok with 2 adapters in series then I dont have to make an adapter for GGTS because it would be expensive without a reason casu my friend.

After the second batch of GGTS I am planning to make an impressive GG. Its name is GG4S. If you say it loud you will hear the word GG forse lol. I dont want to say anything about it for now. It will not be a GGTS but it will have fun and it will be very effective Mosh!

Will you continue making the GGTS after the GG4S? Will the GG4S work with the UFS / AVSv3?

Ahh, think I need to follow this thread some more :D

I can already feel the need for a GG4S, lucky for me I have already cancelled summer holiday :)
But first up is the Iatty and then the VV add on.

By the way, does anyone know where to buy the wick and mesh?

I just bought some kanthal for the Iatty from here kanthal-heating-resistance-wire which should work. But where to buy the wick?

what is this GG4S? is it a stainless steel section system? this isn't a 3 sectioned GG like the trans is it? hope not; been there and done that. at least hope that all new ideas are exhausted before any of the old ones get another go around. but if it's genuinely something new, i'd like first crack at the prototype.

as far as iAtty, how will the user be able to premeasure the exact desired resistance?

Measure the resistance of the wire and cut it to the proper lenght, then wrap that using as much as you possibly can without too much overhang on either terminal. This requires just a simple digital ohmmeter and a little practice :)

Sorry.....this newbie has already called dibs on the prototype! :pervy: not that I would actually be able to get it with all the collectors around here....but it's a nice thought! :D

poppa, GGTS is the flagship of GG products and it will stay like this, so of course I will still make it. And GG4S will have the ability to fit UFS and Iatty.

Jesper, here is what I will use for Iatty: S1RFW1 Braided fiberglass wick approximately 1/16 inch diameter. SKU: 1376-100 Round Fiberglass Wick. Spool size 100 yards. - WickStore.com

BuGG, GG4S is not something under discussion for now, it will come much later and its still on the designs. It will not be a GGTS as I said to poppa but it will have some nice capabilities. As for Iatty, you can premeasure the resistance by using a multimeter. But you can be very accurate because you will connect the wires outside the Iatty.

Iatty will be ready for use in any 510 connection blackwater

Gotta start somewhere! Took me this long to get a GGTS w/AVS, and I'm not in to VV, so I have to skip to the gg4s. :)
where's dibs? :D

don't try to start collecting now, there's just too much, and the mental anguish is unbearable at times...trust me, stick with current production models and you'll be happier in the end.

Well that is just great because I already have a ton of that stuff from that exact vendor. A lot of people were telling me that I was stupid for using fiberglass but I have had a lot of success with it.

So is that a better wick than what is normally used in, say like a CE2? I started using the SS mesh to get away from the burnt taste. That's also why I have started de-wicking my attys.
I dont know the answer to that but it seems very similar to what is used in ce2s. Imeo stated that you will be able to use steel mesh as well so if you are used to that then you can stick with it. The cool thing about the iatty is that if you start getting a burnt taste just roll up a new coil and wick.

Yeah, goes back to the personal preference thing. More of a curiosity question than anything. I may order the wick as well, just to see how it works out with it. In a CE2, the wick doesn't always do it's job fast enough. What I am betting, is that with the liquid above the wick (assuming of course), you will not have that. Just like since I have had the AVS, all of my attys work much better being surrounded by liquid. Flavor and vapor vastly improved! I am hoping this will have the same outcome.

If you start getting a burn taste you can do more things than changing wick vanalen. You can refill, overflood, drip, remove the internal cap (and adjust the air (only on GGTS)) the Iatty

Its not in my plans to make a longer AVS poppa. Maybe I will not make AVS again at all.

I read some things about fiberglass vanalen (because I had health concerns about it) but there is nothing wrong with it as I see it. If someone has any objection I would like to hear it guys:)
