WOW, once the technique is mastered ,this will indeed be very simple.

Imeo, you have once again gone above and beyond in designing this, I am very impressed!!

Will be interesting to illustrate, but I enjoy the challenge ;) I will (to the best of my abilities) illustrate exactly how to do the coil as well (step by step) to make it easier for everyone.

Also, I see that this design will be SS Mesh friendly for those who wish to try it.

Zor

One question though, how much of the kenthal wire, nickel wire and wick will we get with the Iatty?

It will definitely be mesh friendly, but the use of mesh will make it a bit harder for some people... At least until they've worked with the mesh a bit :)

Hey imeo, iatty looks awesome, I am very curious to see the next videos with the trick for replacing wick without changing coil. I do have to suggest that you invest in a high definition camera because seeing exactly what you are doing with the wires was kind of tough to see. I will be able to do it with the videos that you posted but I think that there will be a lot of people that will need to see it in better detail.

Just found a dirt cheap source for nichrome wire here Nichrome Wire
Is there a significant benefit to using kanthal instead of nichrome?

You can find it even cheaper on ebay I just found 75ft of kanthal for 4.50. I personally likle the taste better with kanthal but that may be subjective.

I saw that one and noticed that its 32awg and kanthal A-1 rather than 34awg kanthal D. Not sure what the difference is but I would like to use what Imeo uses.

Ebay also has the .16mm kanthal d 30feet for 4.99. I assumed you wanted to experiment with other stuff since you posted a link to nichrome.

I have the same issue sometimes when using dark juices as well.

Very strange, I read this alot. I wonder if it's the brand of atty. I use mostly extracted juices which are very dark and other dark juices. Have never had that happen. I do blow them out alot, hence I love being able to do that on the GGTS through the holes w/out removing the atty. I do not dry burn. I use mainly Ciscos now 99% of the time.

the no resistance wire is nickel ainako and I bought it from here: wires.co.uk - specialist in craft wire, knitted craft wire, silver wire, enamelled copper, resistance wires, stainless steel, plated wires and many more!. Its nickel 0,236mm. I also bought the SS one but its resistance was too big. It had 2,2 ohm per 7 cm!
One more question Imeo, what is the no resistance wire called? You are a gentleman and a genius my friend, I cannot express enough how excited I am! Your creations really have renewed my love for vaping, many thanks and well wishes to you and your family

Thank you very much guys.

lord, to speak the truth I dont see any commonality between Iatty and bulli. Bulli has no tank, it has wool, bolts, it breaths in a different way, etc and its a totally different design. Maybe Iatty its more like an E2 but if you see it better its more like every other China atomizer with more capabilities (I have mention them on forum). The think that makes it look like E2 is the ceramic. But if I was able to make my own ceramic then you wouldnt find any commonalities I think.:) As for if it will be mesh friendly I have another thought of it. I will post all of the tricks I found in 2-3 days

Zor, I will send 1mm of Kanthal, 2m of wire and 1 m of wick. Is this ok you think?

Roger, thank you very much that you helped me with the wick. Without your help I wouldnt be able to order it buddy:)

kanthal is a stronger wire ainako

I will buy a very expensive camera vanalen. I will need it for sure if I want to make videos without problems. Thanks for the suggestion:)

Thank you very much trist:)

I have just got a bulli A-2 as i figured im going to have to get used to making my own wicks and such, plus i have got to give myself a crash course on Ohms/resistance watts etc...etc...
Just done my first build it has come out at 2.3 Ohms and im running it at 5.2v or 10.4 watts and all i can say is Whoooaaa
It has actually made a little light headed after only 3-4 inhales.
But the bulli is to airy for me i like a tighter pull so i will just practice my buliding on this for now and sell it once the Iatty hit's the UK.
All i can say is Imeo make sure cam keeps one of the Iatty's these back for me i got to have one.

Now all you need to make is a mouth mod so i can use the GGTS and my GGTB or grant at the same time
:D

The commonality I see is with the bulli is the ability to change the wire with no solder, your design is admittedly much better since no tools are needed. The commonality with the E2 is as you mentionied, the found slotted ceramic. A very good merging of different methodologies. I definitely thing this is an excellent design you have come up with :)
