If your resistance was too high then you would not produce hardly any vapour and vice versa .Unless you had for example a provari .Multi meteres are cheap to buy and im sure most folks will find a use for one around the home , even if it was only for checking the continuity of a fuse .
I am more interested as to how the i-atty is going to prevent flooding the coil .

The coil is actually "in between" (submerged in) the juice, but it's locked by that cone-shaped SS part in a way that juice gets in the ceramic bowl only through the wick. The trick is how hard you will tighten that cone part to the plastic one under it - it's kind of a juice control (the tighter - the less juice to the coil) - smart ;) ... as far as I got it from imeo's vids

A bit like the CE2 I think, the coil is above the juice
Not really as I can understand the coil can be bellow juice level as well as above depending on liquid level
The feature is bottom part have only 2 tiny holes filled with the wick actually and this will prevent coil even if juice above the coil

the no resistance wire is nickel ainako and I bought it from here: wires.co.uk - specialist in craft wire, knitted craft wire, silver wire, enamelled copper, resistance wires, stainless steel, plated wires and many more!. Its nickel 0,236mm. I also bought the SS one but its resistance was too big. It had 2,2 ohm per 7 cm!

On that site the wire you say you got states it has a resistance of 1.83 ohms per metre. Is that right? I don't understand what you mean by 'no resistance wire.' Is it because the resistance is so small it doesn't matter or am I looking at the wrong wire?

I tend to agree with you on this point. It was mentioned in the vid to tightened the cone but not too much

Can I get a direct link to the product or product number? I'm only seeing Nichrome wire at 24.7 oHms/meter

A couple of them? One for at home and one at work? Typically when I really like something I'll buy two, in case one breaks and for some reason they aren't available anymore.

Yep, I'm a boilermaker so my work one takes a beating and shows it. I like to have a mint condition one for home and out and about :)
