You can make the iatty at whatever resistance you like so absolutely it will work but if you make the resistance to low then I am sure the protection will kick in.

I want to say something else about Iatty. The resistance has to be all of it inside the ceramic. Dont let wire to come outside ceramic more than 1 mm per side. You will damage the plastic.

LOL I have used up all the wire that was sent with the Iatty from Cam, in just trying to make one good atty,I keep getting E1 error codes on the provari i`m doing something wrongnow where can I buy 2miles of the wires from for future trys I`m useless at this type of thing its a fantastic bit of kit though Imeo
