I was disappointed in the amount of resistance and non resistance wire. Way less than the Meter of each that we were supposed to get. I don't think that Bruce was trying to screw us. He was probably was not measuring and just wrapping some around his fingers and cutting it, just to get all the orders out as fast as he could.

Bruce always send the right stuff but Iatty is a new thing and we got confused between conversations as I see it.

Maybe its the last time that I send unassembled things.

As for the length of the wire, Bruce told me that I send him less wire than the apropriate and he asked me if he can send to all of you a little less so all of you can have same size. I will send to Bruce enough wire and he will send it to you, no worries about that too. We will share the extra cost for shipping o-rings and wires to you. You will not pay anything of course.

I weighed the wire and it was ok. Bruce messure it and it was not ok. Maybe I have to buy a new balance

Just read about the wrong o-ring issue. I must have just lucked out. :toast: When I assembled mine Friday, I just wet the o-rings with a little saliva like I would normally do to new o-rings, and twisted them until they were seated. Granted, they went in a little hard, but no big deal. After I made the coil, I broke one of the wires when assembling it, but the second attempt was charm and I have been vaping on the iAtty since noon Friday, and I am on my third tank now. No leaks, no flooding, no running dry. I LOVE this thing! :hubba: I was trying to build the resistance at 1.7ohms but would up with 1.9ohms instead. I ordered some 13mm resistance wire that should be here any day and plan to do a coil at 3.4ohms for 5v vaping. I wish now that I had bought 2 iAtties instead of just one.

Imeo, we all know you and Bruce will make it right. Accidents happen, and people make mistakes, no harm no foul. Bringing a new product to market is a tough job, and you bring a new one to market every couple of months. It has to be a monumental task to keep up with it all. Bruce and you do an outstanding job, and y'all are both great people. I wouldn't give up on not assembling things. You have to expect a couple of bumps in the road until we all get travelling the same direction :)

Maybe an idea to save you assembly would be packaging all the required parts and o rings in a baggy for each individual unit before shipping to suppliers. Then all they have to do is put each baggy in a shipping container and send it off. We all get the right parts (because you packaged them) your suppliers don't have to make sure they get everything together, and you don't have to assemble. Just something to consider. (This might already be what you do)

Thank you very much Rick for the understanding.:):)

I desided to stop sending unassembled parts because the market is not ready for this. I run fast but the market goes slow, thats what I see. So better to push the brakes for now and the future will show us the way. You are the man that can follow for sure but people like you are only a few. People like you check the GG forum almost everyday, they like to discover things, they have patient etc. But most people are not like this and I totally understand that so I have to please them too:)

Personally I am happy these came unassembled, it's made me learn about the product I'm using. I am pretty sure that if they'd have been all put together with the coils in place, I would have been really concerned about having to make new coils and fit them in.

By sending the Iatty in parts it is far easier to understand how to use it.

I agree that some people have no patience and the Iatty is a learning curve, but it's an amazing product and really easy to use once you're up and running :)

If people find the Iatty that difficult I hope they never decide to take up scuba diving ;)

Maybe I will not make the coils but I will send it assembled iaswni and Dee. I agree that the first thing that someone has to do is to dissasemble it because he cant assemble the coil in another way but I will avoid complains like this. Some people already said that they prefered it assembled so they will now how it was before they disassemble it. I dont blame them of course because they like it this way. Its not all people the same

Having mine arrive disassembled was fine for me and i would have most likely took it apart within a day anyway :)

Its a shame you can't ship separate for those that don't mind putting there own together

I had no issues assembling mine aside from the mismatched o-rings, but I worked around it. I've been vaping heavy on the iatty since yesterday and it's a work of art, Imeo. Job well done, sir. You are a masterful designer and you have a customer for life here. Don't let the negativity bother you, you designed an amazing product...once again.
