That's what I am afraid too. I also have the older Aluminium GGTS. And because I have to leave a small distance between Iatty and cap for the airflow, the Iatty always moves a little. That couldn't be good for the threads. I hope the GGStealth will come soon and I can buy one of his caps. In the meantime I will order a 801to510 Adapter to use the Iatty with the 801-connector of my GGTS. It will look strange, but maybe it is better for the threads.

Do you have a TS with an overflow tank? If so I ordered a 510 to 901 and 901 to 510 adapters from madvapes. This fits perfectly I just threw in an 0 ring to block the small notched holes in the adapter. This keeps it tight and allows you to use the draw controll with the iAtty.

Just a quick tip for those who manage to split or lose the smaller o ring on the ceramic cup. I took an old atomizer apart and used the small rubber bung on the connection to replace the o ring. It fits nicely and helps a little bit in keeping the cup straight in the hole.

Try this.....take a box cutter blade and make a slight cut into the plastic at the very top of the threaded part up against the large diameter section of the plastic piece. When you wrap the wire around the plastic make sure it is in the "channel" you cut. It's stays put when you tighten it down

That's definitely a solution Para and right in line with mine. Have you done this yourself?

About 10 minutes after I finally got the silver wire out of the threads. lol The center post wasn't making connection so I noticed it wasn't fully extended through the connector. When I took it apart the silver wire was jammed in the threaded area...thought I never would get it out

just got my iatty today but once i fill the juice, the iatty leak from the 510 connector point. And there isn't much vapor produce. what is wrong here??

My first attempt vaping iatty had the similar results:facepalm:
Check if the plastic parts are tight enough, especially the lower plastic to the base of the iatty.
If you're using PG liquids, open the cone just 45° or the eight part of a turn.

To get excess liquid out again - i assume liquid is all over the wick - blow into the mouhpiece after assembling the iatty again, just hold it over something because liquid will come out of the bottom.

Yesterday i read a hint for tightening the base plastic of the iatty without opening it - remove iatty from the GG and use a screwdriver to tighten the iatty connector from the bottom.

Hope this helps.

P.s. i think most of us had same experiences the first times using iatty

Painfreak, what o-rings did you put onto the ceramic and in which order?
First version was 2 o-rings 3x1,8mm, then it changed to 2x2mm (to be put at 1st onto the ceramic) and o-ring 4x1,5 - both version should work as i know.
The ceramic should not drop out by its own once it is in the delrin.

Don't mix up the o-rings with that one for the mouthpiece, which is 4x2mm.

I'm not sure about the size of the o-ring but I know the one for the mouthpiece. I put the smallest o-ring into the ceramic follow by a bigger one. I've contacted the reseller and he told me it's the right way cause I have a o-ring which is grey in color.

Anyway, I've redo my setup and measuring 1.5ohm, and tighten everything. Now it vapes like a train!! And for 45mins it has not leak a single drop. Hope it stays that way. :)

Yeah, it should be all set now. Mine leaked at first but once I got it all figured out it does not leak at all.

Yup, one day and no leakage so far. Produce lots of vapor. But one thing I've notice it's not like Ufs that u can adjust the juice flow, so after vaping for awhile I get alittle burn taste. Any solution to it??

You can adjust the juice flow. Loosen the cone just a bit and everything should be back to where you want it :)

I left a 1mm gap for the cone. Ok I'll try opening up slightly more and test the result. Thanks mate! Overall, iatty vapor is great. when u finish making your resistance and see it works like a champ, the sense of satisfaction is beyond words. :):)

I agree, it's a great vape when it's dialed in and goin. I think I have it down pat now. Been on the same coil for close to 2 weeks now. Still no burning, still vaping like a steam machine and still hitting like a freight train. All I've had to do during this times fill it up about 2 times a day. I'll say the iAtty is a complete success so far.

to easily lose the burnt taste you can use the iatty with no wick... just wrap the wire around a pin minus the wick. this also allows for more smaller loops. make sure to push the coil close to the bottom of the ceramic. then shove some wick material in the holes so you don't get too much juice. works awesome. no burnt taste just drops in vapor production.
i'm using it on a ggts to control air and the ct is convenient... i am unaware of how it would work on other pv's... it might leak.
