Stu-you popped up with what I needed at the point I was looking and you mailed them immediately and to a different address. That my friend is special. One of the many reasons I love ikenvape so much, they are here when you need them and go the extra mile for us. Thanks for all the love.

Once again I'm behind... but Tina I'm so glad your mom is home and doing so well!! She sounds like an amazing woman.

Stu you are pretty amazing yourself!!! And Martha I'm sending a hug your way :)

As for me... I electronically submitted my taxes at 11:51pm tonight. That's a new record for me. Maybe next year I can make it 11:59pm LOL Funny thing was I thought I was going to have to pay but ended up with a small refund. I'm going to hate it when I can't use the kiddo for a deduction anymore.

Speaking of the kiddo, she is graduating from college on May 7th with a degree in Biology. Unfortunately this isn't the end of school, just the first step. She was suppose to transfer to the A&M main campus and enter the vet program this fall, but has decided to do the first part of that at one of their other campuses that is closer to home. I had plans for her bedroom too, but guess that will have to wait since she's going to be living here again LOL

Somewhere along the way Isaac asked if she was a redhead like me. I come from a very long line of redheads. She has dark hair but it has a ton of red highlights that she just hates. This isn't the best picture in the world, but I'm seldom in pictures so this is the only one I could easily find of our family.

AWW WWay... what a beautiful family you've got!!!! Congrats to your daughter for finishing up her step of college!!!! That's a huge step! Best of luck to her in all of her future en-devours!!!

Thank you so much Val!!

I'm sorry for my absence guys. This week has been..intense. We had some Major issues hit us, but with reasoning and logic, in a sense, this maybe perceived as a godsend. ;)
We''l be back up and rolling in no time.

I hope everything is worked out and going better. You two only deserve good things to happen. I am a firm beliver in all things happen for a reason and that reason leads to something better. If you need anything please let me know.

WW-She is so lucky to have a mom like you Getting to have her around a lil longer will be nice, I'm sure.
Always look for the silver lining!!!! Sometimes it's hard to find/see.

I'm the lucky one! She is a fantastic young woman. She has never given us any real problems and was very easy to raise. And I was the one that suggested she come live at home again to save some money. All her college so far has been paid for with grants she earned. Her housing has been paid for because she works as a RA for her dorm. And we pay for anything else she need like books, food, clothes, etc. She applied for a RA or RD position at A&M and if she gets it she will live on campus. If not she'll live at home.

I and V- IV-LOL
Keep up the good work.

I stared and stared at this then hit myself in the forehead as I finally got it LOL

Mother had her after surgery check up and has been given the go ahead for the colon surgery. Should I wait to schedule this thing for another couple weeks or a month. She did not do as she was told after the open heart surgery. Taking meds on time, wearing the stockings, eating properly and walking. Will lock herself in her room and not come out for 2 days at a time. Gawd what a woman!!!!!!!!!!! LOL LOL. She had the heart surgery on the 9th of this month.

Wow Tina!! That's great! I'm so happy that's she's doing well with her recovery. As far as the 2nd surgery goes, if the DR seems to think that it's okay to go forward w/it, then I'm sure it is... but you've got to follow your gut!! Talk to the DR's and see if there's a timeline that she's got... will it get worse and how quickly if she doesn't get it right away... b/c not only do you have to watch out for her body, you've gotta watch out for your own sanity!! Taking care of someone so stubborn is very stressful and draining to the caregiver. I hope everything works out and I know you'll make the right decision!! *hugs*

What Val said, Tina. You have to trust her doctors and your gut. I found that when I was taking care of my own mother that sometimes my gut made more sense. ;) My thoughts are with you!

That's one of the problems. She says she needs to wait-that she's not ready.
The triple bypass was an emergency surgery that we had to do before we could get clearance for the tumor in her colon. It is pre-cancerous. She had to be cleared by a cardiologist and a pulmonologist, before having the colon surgery.
I can step in and just make the appointments and rush her through it but, I did that with the cancer of the lung (adenocarcinoma) 12 years ago and have yet to hear the end of that one!

Anyway, I'm sorry, I feel like I let you guys down for a nice surprise.
