It's what he said next that shocked me.
According to him (only as I have found nothing backing him online..... not surprised as big pharma could have a hand in it), nicotine may actually suppress some illnesses. He want on to say that some illnesses being suppressed by nicotine will/may flair up after one quits nicotine for so long, and after they present, nicotine will no longer work in suppressing them.
Look up ulcerative colitis for starters...

My health is much better from vaping. 6 years ago, I couldn't breathe. I look at nicotine as coffee now. I won't quit my Cafe Bustelo in the morning either ;) I enjoy them both :)

And me with my Twinings English Breakfast Tea... I had to knock off the 10-cups-a-day of it, so I could stay hydrated, but I'll be hanged if I give it up completely! Got a nice cup of it right now, in fact (yum!), because I was freezing and iced tea didn't seem too appealing. :D

I really don't think I would. I, like many others have turned it into a hobby and I really don't want to give up something that I love doing and I'm very passionate about. I told my doctor that I've been vaping for the past year and he said why don't you make it your New Year's resolution to quit. I think that he thinks I'm just using a cigalike. He doesn't know how involved I am with it so I said maybe but I knew in my head I wasn't going to. I am going to go down to 3mg this month though.

I think getting to 3mg is AWESOME!!! because right now I float between 24-18mg LOL. I still think I would hang around at 3mg for a long time because I am an addict. I am addicted to Coffee, I drink wine at least once a week, I think if I stopped nic all together at some point I would pick up a cig again. However the laws are so strict in the state I live in nicotine juice is illegal now so they may force my hand earlier which would kill me literally.

I'm over 3 years in now and I just recently lowered my nicotine level from 18 to 6mg. I started out with 24 and learned real quick that I should be lower because the nic buzz was overwhelming. So, I'm okay with 6 and not thinking about quitting anytime soon.

I must be odd... I am going between 24 and 18 just fine but I am using egos and clearomisers (both of which are junk not even real ego on the branding I mean) so I am not sure I would stay that high on a better set up.

Not sure what kind of head you were looking for, but I noticed that you did order an iStick? I highly recommend a Nautilus Mini with that and you'll find out you don't need to do 24 anymore. :) I sincerely hope you stay on top of the game and never think about a cig again! :) don't smoke.gif

absolutey I have read so many recommendations on these forums and keep buying stuff before my first "better set up" has even arrived hahah. But yes I ordered Volts after this set up but it takes a long time from US to AUS and in the meantime I discovered Istick and Mini so I am probably going to give away previous purchases and try to stick with the istick set up

It's fine that you're buying what ever you can get your hands on for the time being. What ever it takes! :) You'll have something to look forward to, in the meantime and that would be a great gesture giving the beginners a chance to vape with most of your previous stuff.
