Per the election, when was the last time you saw poll numbers max out in the 40's? When did you ever see 72-75% of the populace poll they didn't trust either candidate?

And yet, how many of those dissatisfied 72-75% are even AWARE that there are more candidates than "either candidate"? Imagine if that same percentage voted J/W........ things that make ya go hmmmmm.

This is Daughter's first election. 4 years ago she felt ill informed and would not cast a ballot without knowledge.

FF 4 years and she's all about this election. She felt the Bern and was quite upset Ms Clinton won the nomination. But she said she would never vote for Eff'ing (her Dad taught her that  ) Trump. I had been talking here and there about Johnson... Her response was 'then Trump wins'. Mrs Wharf and a long talk two days ago... Now she's all over Johnson and spreading the word throughout our Millennial community !!!

We can de-extreme the extremists, but the numbers put the combination of both now in the minority, no longer the majority.

The absolute FUNNIEST part to me is that the Trumpsters don't realize his platform is of the other side's. And the far-far-right conservatives are as locked into the R ticket as the far-far-left liberals are locked into the D. It's kinda scary.

But in the middle lies the majority. The only questions are, (a) Are they paying attention, and (b) Will they vote?

Time tells all.
If the word gets out that it's the right thing to do. Those spoon fed extremests is the very reason that 2 party system, needs to go./ They don't give a damn or know for that fact if the person they're voting for is qualified. Their fearless leader told them this is who to vote for and that's all they need to know. I live in a state full of them. There's still a whole lot of them that think Obama did a wonderful job as president. I just look at them in awe and don't dare get into a discussion.

I heard a couple of guys that specialize in elections and things like that say there as never been an election where both candidates are disliked as much as these two.

With that in mind we may have a chance for a middle ground winner. YEAH!

That's MY hope, and I refuse to listen to anyone who regurgitates the, "They don't stand a chance!" line. I remind them that someone told them that, and ask why they have such unwavering faith in that someone.

It usually stops them in their tracks.

We're gonna need a bigger boat, Studman. ;)

DPL, that's great! I really love that. You so schmaht.

If we could ALL get beyond the Am. Idol reaction to the election, and really start thinking some deeper thoughts about who we truly wish to represent us, rather than fall into the somewhat naive mindset of being in the Winners Circle, we really CAN expect to see the "middle ground" candidates in office. It's not only possible, but plausible!

The RNC used to say that about Trump too. But like all good polititions he called their bluff and they folded.
