I just got notice from FT that USPS Expedited refused to deliver a $3 watch/internal battery and returned the package to FT My Crown coils from a separate order are out for delivery today...go figure.

batteries have been a long standing issue before any of this FDA poop happened. (Even a watch battery can be lithium chemistry...) That whole how it is transported thing. If USPS Expedited is air freight it would have been returned to FT before it left China. Don't want any lithium batteries blowing up or catching fire in unpressurized air cargo containers - stuff like that is the issue.

I know I've been remiss, and I know DPL has as well. No excuse, but in explanation, we've been up to our eyeballs in all thing politico. As much as we both love you guys and ECF, our energies have been spent on our current situation. Le sigh.

It requires more tip toe'ing than I would like, @sawlight. I live with and care for his 82 yr old mother who has dementia, Katie. The ex is an only child, so there is no one else to take care of her. I may be the first woman in history to get custody of the mother in law in a divorce

Ms Kat, DP has the low down...and most likely forwarded my emails to you by now. I told him it was perfectly fine to share with you.

I've had this virus for over a week and it don't seem to be going anywhere soon.

Yes it was Cat that rooted me out.

I love this new computer build. you push a button and you're there. It has fast boot so boot up is almost instant.

Talked to Issac a bit today, he wants to join in here but ECF still shows him as a supplier so he can't post anywhere. Said he's waiting on a mod to change his status, maybe @classwife could look into this for him, please?

I do my jerky in a dehydrator. It don't last long. I use turkey instead of beef. 2lb. of turkey breast last almost a week, closer to 5 days though.
