J, if you're talking about the vaporesso thing at the header this morning, I just clicked the x at the top right corner of it to close it. I use an ad blocker too, so don't see any others.

I just read up on all this ad stuff, and I must be honest that I'm confused. I've been seeing ads at the top of ECF since the day I joined. I don't any ad-blockers or anything, but I never really paid it much mind. For years (and years) it was usually ProVape, with the same old pic (V2 with a CARTOMIZER!). I often found some humor in the fact that they hadn't changed the pic (in light of recent tank/RBA additions to the industry).
J5, I DO hope you don't leave on the account of a little advertising (free market and all that-there...), because you'd be missed.
@Wharf Rat - am I correct in that your allowing your girls to roam in the area of @Katdarling????? Oh my. The next time you see them their cars might be all blinged out and what-not...
Seriously though, that's kind of nice.
Imagine sending Kat to go check on them or something. You'd hear them cursing you all the way from where you are!!!

I see it a bit differently. I don't KNOW that ECF is going in this direction, but it would make sense if they do. As vendors slowly (or swiftly) leave the scene, there is no more monetary support for ECF. The forum needs to have that support to stay in business. So if it's Chinese vendors who are being advertised at the top of the page, that's absolutely fine by me.

That's the first spam I've ever seen on the top of this forum in all the time I've been here DP. But hey that's why I don't watch tv. The commercials just got to be to much. I hate spam in my email too. I'm certainly not going to have ECF spamming me. I love you all.
Perhaps talk to staff, J5, and find out precisely what is happening and why, before you make a departure. I think it would be worth it.
If they have decided to spam us it's for money which means what I have to say is a moot point.
No food tomorrow or the next day until about 2pm. They're going to do another colonoscopy to see if they can find out why I'm having issues. So I'm eating everything in sight tonight. At least I don't have to drink that prep all at once like before.
