I've been using it for years and have tons of images and I still only have around 3% of my space filled. The $ .99 just started and if you pay it the ads go away. I don't understand the trouble you have with imgur. It's the easiest to use of the two.

I'm doing it from my phone using the app, I guess I'm just going to have to upload from the app then link from the browser.
