I think we got off my topic I don't want to DRIP!

Neissie, There are many good suggestions for you concerning PVs here. No one has, as far as I can see, recommend that you drip. Please explain to us what your concept of dripping is as I think you're mistaking it for something else.

1+ outside of the auto's with prefills. These all take a little work for the best results. Main thing is get off the analogs and you can do it while being happy. :2cool:

I think most of us would prefer not to have to drip (not suggesting you should) but some flavors require it if you want the full flavor..if you stick with the thinner e-liquids they work the best without dripping..the thick ones just don't seem to wick well. Also you might like using drip tips as mouth pieces as you don't have to drip with them..I only drip 1 out of my many flavors (Carmel tobacco) but I use drip tips on all my carts :)

I am pretty sure that when Neissie says "dripping," he/she(?) means refilling cartos. Neissie wants prefilled cartos only.

A cartomizer is an atomizer with material surrounding it that absorbs the liquid. These can be refilled with liquid that you buy separately etc. If refilling these cartomizers is what you are referring to as "dripping" then:

1. That is not dripping as we refer to it here.
2. You will wind up paying much higher prices for (probably) lower end products

Dripping refers to actually dripping 3-4 drops into the atomizer and vaping it.

Refilling a cartomizer can involve slowly dripping the liquid into the absorptive material. Once it is absorbed you drip a little bit more until it is saturated. Then you can vape for a few hours. The actual time varies depending upon your vaping habits.

I understand you asked a specific question about purchasing pre-filled cartos, but refilling cartos offers so many benefits it is a hard option to ignore.

Other than that, http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-liquid-discussion/89566-prefilled-cartomizers.html

Neissie I bet your head is swirling right now! lol ... just take notes of the info given, stay away from any fanatics that seem to have a vested interest in what PV you choose, and who's advice you have taken.

Just because someone has a high post count it doesn't mean they know what they are talking about ... so be discerning.

You'll find your way ... we all did.

You just have to jump in nose deep and decide if you like it or not. Besides the fact your taste will change as your buds give up the tar.

There is so much confusing information in this thread that if I was a nOOB, I'd just go buy a couple cartons of Dunhills.

So my.02. Keep it simple and affordable.

For now, forget about tanks of any kind.

Buy EGO type batteries that have a rating of 650 mAh or more.

Get cartomizers and learn how to fill them. It is so easy it's ridiculous

Seriously, using Cartos is no big deal. You fill up 2 a day and your good to go. Takes me 5 min every night. (well with me its 3 or 4 because I have turned into a vape fiend..lol)

I thought exactly like you and wanted to stick with something that looks like a cig... and my Halo G6 has done me OK.. but wish I would have started with an eGO RIVA or something that I can slip in my pocket and last me all day at work. I go through 2 batts right now at work.... and by what I hear the taste with the KR808s..cig size is just no where NEAR as good as you get with something slightly bigger.

AND...the price for a decent Cig style PV is not much less (or a bit MORE) than a good deal on a eGO.

From the halo, if you are looking for flavor, skip the ego and go right to a Riva/KGO, there's a lot more to it than battery size. I don't want to say much more on a noob thread with the headline "I'm so confused" and ask that we not get into a discussion about watts here. Trust me, I wish I had when I was ready to step up from my kr8s. I stepped up into a battery that lasts longer but puts out less power than a kr8. Riva/Kgo are the same power with a world of choices to place on top.

Thanks Charlz...but too late... 2 weeks in to my quit and discovering the joy of vaping, and I should be getting my Buzz Pro this Thursday :)

Good advice though. Wish I would have went with the Riva KGO (thats the one I was thinking of...not the eGO) for my "take to work" vape. Small enough to fit (mostly) in your hand and not look like "illegal" substance device ;)
