Hi All,

I changed from japanese cotton to cellulose rayon last year and at first it was awesome. But since then my old stash of cellulose that I got on an exchange on ecf is gone. I bought a new batch but it just doesn't wick the same. The fibers pull apart when I try to wick it through my coils and I am not sure what I am doing wrong?

Does anyone have any tips on preparing the wick so that it's consistent?

Thanks much!

I got a buddy to buy some rayon for me and he passed me two other types along with the purchase and they ALL have different qualities. At a glance, they look the same but one has got shorter strands, another has longer strands and the third just looks a little more lumpy. So I guess not all rayon/cellulose/cellucotton is made the same. I expect you'll have to figure out the best way to wick them through trial and error.

Are you sure it is cellulose Rayon and not cellulose cotton?
