I have the chameleon one and the itaste mvp, love both of them and saw they are coming out with a new product callled "ibox" which im very excited for. But In answer to the thread I absolutely love my itaste vv 3.0

I just ordered a Chameleon one. Can't wait till I receive it. Wanted the Pearl Chrome but Chameleon was my 2nd color choice.

Got my iTaste 3.0 in black, along with iClear 16s. While they are pretty darn good, I really like the iTaste with evods...great combo. For whoever asked, of course it is a "one and done" battery, not replaceable, and my only unanswered question will be longevity. Aside of that, it does everything exactly as advertised, is built well, and perfect for when I am out and about. For me, it is a great complement to my Smoktech SID. Not knocking anyone who is comfortable carrying larger mods around, just not for me.

Not at all criticizing PBusardo's review...he is right. The iTaste 3.0 is not for high-powered vaping, at least not on par with a Provari/Vamo/Zmax/SID/LavaTube. In a form factor equivalent to a 900mah vv twist, I have no issue with that as 7.0 to 8.0 watts work best for me. It is more expensive than an eGo twist, but with its full feature set, very reasonably priced. With an evod, the balance and feel is better IMHO than the twist, it is well-constructed, and the feature-set superb.

I particularly am impressed the Innokin obviously listened, and made small, but ever so important changes from 1.0 to version 2.0, to version 3.0. The usb mini port is big, as is the improvement in the connector and resistance checker. When version 3.0 comes out for the MVP I'll probably grab one up.

Mine gives all four readouts as it indicates in the manual but you have to keep holding the buttons down. Pressing and holding the "+" and "-" together gives me oHms, battery voltage, number of puffs then the power level in that order. If I don't hold the buttons down and just press them only oHms and the battery voltage is displayed.

Pressing and holding either the "+" or "-" button first gives the number of puffs then the power level. I can only change my power level with the "+" or "-" button when the power level is being displayed. This is a good thing as it prevents accidentally changing the power level.
Aha! It was me. My thumb isn't evenly distributed across the buttons. After reading your post, I tried it again, only using both thumbs this time, and voila. All 4 readouts. :vapor:

It's been a long, long time since I bought a new mod, just been happy enough with an old school reo grand and 306 LR atty's for the longest time....

But as times gone on I've found myself looking with slightly envious eyes at all the cool stuff around now that perhaps isn't so well suited to a bottom feeder mod. Mix that with the increasing costs (and availability in some cases) of old school atty's and I felt, no, I'm gonna go for another mod and try that.

So, just ordered an itaste MVP, its still box like, a form factor I personally love and I've gone for a kanger pro tank and low resistance head pack to go alongside my new MVP. Can't wait frankly to try this combo out!

Who knows, will this finally replace my old faithful reo? I'll let you know later in the week!

Can anyone tell me what it means when the green light blinks 10 times right after taking a vape?

I just charged it and can't find any info on this.

BTW - I just received it on the 12th after ordering it from HG on June 27 via normal shipping

EDIT; Okay, I think it's a 10 sec shut off warning because it happens in yellow and red led mode as well. For the super long hit, just release it at 8 secs and start again.

I tried vaping it while it was charging and the battery got pretty hot. So I unplugged it and let it cool off, the plugged it back in and it's charging just fine and not hot at all. I've never had a passthrough battery but this doesn't seem normal. Has anyone had this happen?

Edited to say I just tried using it as a passthrough again and it didn't get hot this time. I'm wondering if I didn't have it plugged in securely or something.

That could be. A loose connection can certainly be a heat source.

I've not had occasion to use mine in pass-thru, but I wouldn't expect it to get hot. Warmer than ambient, probably. After all, you are pumping current through it. But not hot!

Hope that's all it was, and good to hear that it seems to be behaving in the proper manner!

I'm on day #2 of mine...I am liking it. Ordered on a whim because it was a pass thru and cheap, got more than I expected. VW comparison to my zmax is in order, probably tonight after work.

Seems the battery is impressive. It was "green" from shipping so I figured I would run it down and charge. I've got a good five hours of use so far and it's not gone yellow yet. At this rate it may outlast a 16490 in a provari.

Quick edit. Wow. I went from six hours yesterday and another six today. I was starting to suspect the light was faulty and would not go yellow. Once it did it only took about 30 minutes to start warning me with red. Still far better than I would have expected.

Ok I guess this is what's happening to mine, it arrived this afternoon and I'm pretty impressed with it so far, especially the build quality on a device that's relatively inexpensive. My only issue is this cut off thing... At least I think it's a cut off, I'll go to vape it and sometimes its like its off, turned itself off without me ever doing it?

Other times I vape it fine, take a few good sized drags and go for a third and again, its like its off. It doesn't flash, doesn't do the usual warning cut off lights stuff, just powers off, but not really, cause I never have to do the 5 click on thing to get it working shortly after... Odd. My only real complaint about it, oh, well, that and may be the button placement, but that's just me and my old reo ways, I'd prefer it on the top or side tbh. Not a deal breaker though.

Just ran a test on mine. Took off the topper, held the fire button and timed it.

At roughly 10 sec (didn't bother to get out the stopwatch, don't feel a need to be that precise) it went from solid breen to blinking. Blinked 10 times, light went out, stayed out when I released the button.

Pressed the fire button and it lit up normally. No need to turn it back on. Just resumed working.

So the timer circuit doesn't toggle the on/off, just interrupts power until the button has been released.

Nice. Got mine for $24 on fastech. Might pay extra to not wait if I didn't have it.

thinkingaboutit, Do you have a link? I looked there, but only saw 39.95 kits. I ended up going to HG.

just a heads up, ill be selling mine as soon as I am verified (just waiting on them to approve my form). Great little VV device but I have a SVD and Provari en route.

    Let me know seamor512

That is probably the only reason I will be replacing my Twist with another Twist. To me, 2 seconds more seems like a long time.
