Hey guys,

Just made an impulse buy after stumbling on EC Blends site.

Bought a Cool Fire IV in gold for $19.95. I have no idea what I just did or what I'm getting into.

Just thought I'd share :).

At your wattage, the battery will last several days. I am thinking that you will love the mod.

Thanks. I got the gold because it will be matchy-matchy with my $50 close out iPhone. They're sold out of the popular colors.

Plus, the body matches the shape of my SX mini, but without the battery cap hassle.

4 months later using the innokin zenith tank :D

I actually, kinda, forgot that Innokin makes the Zenith Tank...

It's the Tank that I pick up most often...(in my rotation)...

    (And...am buying more of them)...

    I mean...LEAVE ON MOD => twist Top Ring => Refill => twist Top Ring => Vape...:headbang:

There's an Innokin Owner's Group? Can I join? Even if I'm just puffing on a Goby at 10 watts?

I also have my old MVP3 lying around here somewhere.

LOL! New to me is that lil Gobitty! I abstolutely love it. Tiny little "mod" with a great big hit!

I'm enjoying it quite a lot as well. I got it for MTL vaping, I just never could get used to direct-lung at high watts. You're right that this still hits pretty hard for the power it has, I've had to step down my nicotine strength since I got it.

I just asked if I could join since I feel a little like the guy that wants to join the Harley owner's club when he's putting around on a 125 (I don't think Harley actually makes anything that small but you get the idea).

Just out of katkuriosity, what nic did you vape and what is the step down?

Well I should probably preface this by saying I very recently started vaping again after a hiatus and was playing around with the Juul to start back with. So I got some rather high nic juice to refill the Juul pods with (54 mg). So then I got the Goby and it turns out that was WAY too much. So I stepped down to 36 mg. Still pretty strong. I may try 24 next (I've got some PG and VG from a DIY kit I bought back in the day so I can dilute).

Was the 54mg nic salts? I tried the salts and didn’t much care for them.

Actually no, so the throat hit was pretty intense.

I'm not really convinced on the nic salt thing, I think people are getting more satisfaction from them just from the high nicotine levels that people are using them at. But they do seem to produce a somewhat smoother vape.

We (several of us at a vape meet) tried the Juul when it first hit the scene. Initially, people liked it, but after a couple of hits on it, we allllllllllll shunned it. Too much nic, even tho smooth, it nearly blew our heads off.

Funnily enuf, I have zero attraction to the nic salts. I LIKE my TH, and I am perfectly kontent with my nic level. But I do see how it might be something for other vapers.

To each, and taste is, and all that jazz. :)

I actually liked it. I'm a fiend when it comes to nicotine so it didn't knock me over. I do like some throat hit but at that high nicotine it can be too much, so the smoothness was welcome. It's a neat little device and I can get pods for it at the convenience store so it has that going for it too.

What made me start looking for something else was the expense. $4 a pod with less than a mL of juice. You can refill the pods but it's kinda hacky to do, and they don't last for too many refills. I'm not that cost sensitive being a single guy on an engineer salary, but philosophically I just have trouble paying more than I feel like I should be. Goby coils are $2 each and from what I can tell last several fills.

I'm with ya, and that is one of the reasons I never looked deeply into podders. The cost per ml of eliquid was astonishing to me and whether or NOT one can afford it, it seemed ridiculie.

I do love and appreciate my pop-in coils, particularly the CLRs, which have the ability to be rewicked/recoiled. The Gobitty coils are not really an issue as far as expense goes, as I doubt I'll use more than one or two a year.

Absto not, Mon VP. I love the little thing, but it's just not an all day every day mod for me.

I bought a little pencil bag that fits in my pocket for carrying vape gear around in. Two Gobys fit in there with no trouble at all.

Still, for what I'm doing it works as an all day mod. I have two so I've been putting one on the charger and swapping them when the battery indicator turns yellow. But the battery lasts pretty well. If I vaped it down to red I bet I could get one to last almost all day.

I'm sure there's other stuff out there that I'd be happy with, but I'm trying not to get deep into spending a lot of money on vape stuff (as you know, this is something you can just about spend as much as you want on). Still, I've got like 3 packages on the way (mostly DIY stuff right now).

We all like what we all like (she said, risking redundancy). :)

The draw for me with the Gobelette is the fantastically small size (2 in a pencil bag, right Nate? LOL!).

    It specs out at 23.2*16.5*75mm.
