Interesting news for modders and a question

I don't know if they used a 18500 or a 18650 batterie in the GGTS on vaportrails.tv.

Depending on how you set up the GGTS. If you put atty at the connector inside the collector tank then the center pin will protrude down making it a tight fit to put anything more than an 18650. If you use a re-threader and 910-510 adaptor to make the 510 connector sit flush with the top cap of the GGTS then the pin wont go out as much and should be able to accommodate the kick inside it. Then again there is always the extension tube for the GGTS if real estate is an issue. I use a single extra extension tube to fit my evercool module this way with 2 18350 batts with rooms to spare.

Beta's should be shipping sometime very soon to those that are getting them if they do not already have them. It will still be a couple weeks until anyone knows anything concrete. From what I hear, beta user's are suppose to remain anon and send their feedback to Evolv.

Yeah, I heard that, too. Makes sense, since the beta version is not the final version and it would be counter-productive to have all kinds of specs and reviews for it floating around that differ from the production unit ;-)

Just PM'd Brandon at Evolv to ask if just the PCB's and LCD's will also be beta released as well (and beg to get put on the list if they are)...I've got a couple half completed box mods that I'm holding off on finishing cause I want to go regulated wattage so bad...I really think once these controllers are out there it'll be the end of VV mods as we know them...
