I have heard that the the kick will only work with metal mods that use the tube for negative output.

Anyone know if this is true? I was hoping to use the kick with my Hog mod.

This is true, but to some extent would be possible for you if you use a 18490 and run an extra ground (wire?) to the negative contact on the kick, and do something (???) to hold it all in place. Not easy, but possible.

Don't forget the wattage adjustment location. He'll have to mount it where it's removable to make the changes and then put back in place or provide access to make the change or.....reposition the adjust module and that's WAY risky. In it's present config, anything other than what it was designed for will be a real challenge.

Hopefully a future version will position the wattage adjustment so we have external access for adjustments while it's in place.

(???) is the secret sauce :)

The box provides support from 2 sides, three counting the lid, but I won't count that as it is too fiddly sounding. It is going to want to pop out where the kick meets the positive battery, so I propose 2 screw in posts to hold the kick in place and extend just a bit to hold the battery too, provided it is pushed from below by the spring.

Or just tape it to the top of the battery, each and every time :D

Cool, there is a vapetv type of vid from two brits that cover it quite thoroughly.

Well considering you will be bringing any metal 18650 mod to 18500 we can assume it is 15mm high and around 18mm in diameter. You would essentially be able to put it into things like the silver bullet, omega, ggts etc.
Developer told me he tried hand jamming it into a 17mm tube, depending on room, you might be able to go a little thinner like a mod that can handle a 17670.
