Fyi, the nano I have is from another vendor - I got it before gv started carrying them - but the vendor is an official Vision seller.

I put mine down finally since my experience with them was terrible. I'm hoping some of you can help me out.

I filled it, let it soak for 30 minutes or so, and put it on a mini 808 with an adapter. Dry hits every time unless I give it a priming puff. Actually, blowing into it works better than drawing from it. But I have to do this every time. It's the same on every battery I've used and I don't currently have a vv. juice ranged from 50/50 to 80/20, pg heavy, dark and light, dessert, fruit, tobacco and menthol flavors.

It's probably just this particular unit and I'll likely need to get another one or two to be able to draw a conclusion. Before I do that, does anyone have any tips or tricks? I'm willing to try something extreme if necessary since this one will likely be put away for emergencies and I don't have any real attachment to it.

Thanks :)

Have you measured the actual voltage being put out by the batteries you tried it on? Are they regulated or unregulated batteries? If they are unregulated and fully charged, the voltage would definitely be too high for these 1.8 ohm coils. That's all I can think of at the moment.

My first fill of the nano was with a tobacco flavor I was trying out from another vendor that turned out to be flat and not to my liking. Just refilled with Hush, which I've been vaping for a while. Well the Hush is vaping very well with great vapor and fantastic taste. I did not clean it, so this is Hush with traces of the first juice, still very much Hush. The only minor problem is refilling, which really needs a pipette or needle as the normal bottle tips/droppers are a bit too big for the nano, although you can use them, carefully. But this is a very minor issue. For me, the nano is a keeper.

Another minor problem is that, on my nano, the positive post is a bit sunken inside the 510 threads. It would be nice if they had it sticking out of the threads a bit instead. It would make easier contact with those finicky battery posts that tend to get pushed in.

I'm wondering if everyone's nano has its positive connector sunk a bit into the threads, or is it just mine?

I have given these a good try, I have vaped 4 fills each in 2 of them. The 1.8 ohms at as low as 3.0v or even at 4.0w give great vapor but burns out the flavor. If these will be available in 2.6-2.8 ohms in the future I will give them another try.
I'm just a high ohm type of guy.

I don't currently have the ability to measure that stuff and I'm unsure of whether or not they're regulated. I've tried it on all of my batteries with the same results. That's 3 ego 650 mah, 2 900 mah egos, 1 pen style automatic 808 and another pen style 808 manual. With all of those batteries, surely that rules out the voltage theory.

I forgot to note that my nano is 2.4 ohms, just realized that gv only has 1.8 so y'all might not be able to help me after all.

Mine also had trouble connecting to my egos, I have to lift the pin on them but I come across that from time to time.

I'm not 100 % sure but the 2.4 "might" need a higher voltage to work really well.

Also Danno was 100% right - I had to get mine through almost a full first fill to really get them going.

And what orbach stated - the juice could be part of it. I have a juice I LOVE but it just doesn't work with the nano well. The next two juices I tried are great - after I get through that "breaking in" spell.

Thanks for the help. I've gone through about 10 fills on it with a slew of different juices, so I don't think that's it. I let it soak for about 30 minutes the first time.

I think it's just this particular one since my experience seems to be abnormal and because it works fine if I give it a primer puff before every draw. That makes me think it's a wicking issue. I wish these things could be taken apart easily!

Bad news on my Nano. It started gurgling and wasn't vaping right, dry hits/low vapor, so I decided to take it apart. Long story short: they don't come apart without breaking the coil. When I pulled the plastic tube off the 510 threads, the wire came out with it. There must be a way to put it back together but if so, I don't think it will be easy. As far as I can tell the only cleaning possible is rinsing them out and/or soaking them. You won't be able to see the coils for dry burning. Mine lasted only two fills before showing problems so I am having second thoughts now. I will order another one just to give it a second chance since it vaped well when it worked.

Edit: to be fair I may have been a bit too eager to find an excuse to take it apart and look inside. I cannot say for sure the nano was actually failing as the juice level was very low (but still above the intake holes). It could have continued to vape well with another refill.

orbach, yeah defiantly try another, i really have put these through the paces, refill after refill, i followed the rule of fill and let soak a few minutes and took a few draws without firing and they all worked extremely well for days on end, im still using the same ones form last monday, got them in my pocket through the airport, vaped them when i got home, bout 4 refills more in each of the 4, i was using 9 initially and dan continued using those and still is..

The truth is I was dying to take one apart and see the innards, so I probably jumped the gun at the first sign of "trouble" lol!! The unit was almost empty although I could see juice level above the wicking holes. I probably was too eager to take it apart and it could have just kept vaping with additional refills. At least now I know you can't take them apart! The story doesn't end here as I will definitely order more.

Well at least it gives an answer to how easy these are to clean :D

It sounds like these vape very well, but may have to be tossed when the coils gunk up. At that price though it still may be a good deal. I'll give one a try on my next order and see how I like them compared to the Phoenix Reborns.
