Yes, thank you. This is my first super t purchase, I'm a provari man myself. I've used my v1 exclusively until I got my mini v2. I now use that one exclusively with my Zap, and I've got an era clone on my v2 mini. It took me a while to nail down the ZAP, but it really delivers better flavor (and slightly less vapor) than my RSST. Now that I have the strata, my first build was an unbelievable vape.

I'm not sure why there's drama from some folks, but in the end it won't matter. Once folks start figuring this beast out, there'll be a little bit of crawfishin'. I will say that if you purchase from Super t, you should be prepared for one whopper of a wait. I ordered my precise simplicity on the 30th of January, and I've had the strata for almost 2 weeks without being able to use it. This may be acceptable to some folks, but for myself, I'd like to see more accurate lead times posted on the site.

In the end, I feel like I spent my hard earned cash wisely, on an American product. If I have to wait another 2 weeks I will. I'll be super ......, but I won't cancel my order after seeing and feeling how incredible the strata is. Ymmv as always. For those who already have a strata and matching device, I hate you. Lol! For those who are still waiting for an undetermined period of time, hang in there! It'll be worth the ridiculous wait. 

You short timer. I've been watin on an ELA since July of '13!:) I haven't even seen a notice on my strata either. Good things come to those who wait. I'm sure it will be all the sweeter when it has finally arrived. I love my simplicity & could be rockin the strata on it but I decided to top my ELA with the strata. Kay serra serah. Whenever will be will be. I'm hangin. Thanks for the info & vid on shipping status thread.:toast:

In all due respect, i designed the button, i know how it works and also have a satburn and yes, it is definitely an identical design. It is a dual grounding (through friction with the screw on bottom cap and the spring) and completes the circuit by making direct contact with the battery when it is depressed. I know this, i invented it almost five years ago and has been adopted by many bottom protruding mechanical mods the world over. Just because it is machined in a different shape, don't let that fool you. It reuses your ela spring and rhodium center contact post, uses an outer screw on shield that the button passes through and completes the circuit through the exact same electrical path. I said Lower resistance coils are "essentially" a short as the lower in resistance you go, the more amperage draw placed on a battery and the more heat that is generated, and YES, coils have become so low, they are simulating a short, some setups drawing 20,30, 40+ amps on these small batteries.

I fully understand I may be trying to use my ELA in a way that it was not designed to be used. 0.30 ohms on a telescoping mod, ehhh should work but then again, if it wasn't designed and tested to handle that much current draw then I completely understand. Exactly why I also ordered a Simplicity 650 and Simplicity Strata.

My point is my satburn button is two piece, with the upper brass. I have not had to clean it yet. To not consider material and it's respective properties, like conductivity, is (IMO) not the whole picture.

And, that is why I suggested an switch upgrade (as an option) for sub or SLR builds.

No disrespect David; I wouldn't be posting if I didn't love your stuff.

Hey guys,

I did a quick few videos of how I have set my Strata up and my thoughts. I do think I'd like to see a few revisions made to see if they satisfy my thinking but like I say...by no means am I am expert and they are strictly my opinions. One thing I can say is that flavour is great, vapour is just fine (for me at least) and nicotine delivery is the best I have tried yet. I recently stepped down to 6mg from 12 and its a fireplug at 6....couldn't imagine trying 18 or higher. Link to the non serious video here.https://vimeo.com/89262993 Did around to see the build one.

Cheers guys and gals.

No disrespect taken and just to clarify that post wasn't directed at you:) The satburn is a two piece because its bigger on the ends so to fit through the bottom cap, it had to be made two piece, but its design/function works exactly the same as the super t oem. Keep in mind, many super t owners buttons havent had to be cleaned in a long time either.

No, I know. I was mentioned it that long post that goes on and on about whatever.

So, no upgrade then? A more conductive material (than SS) would help out the current flow through the switch.

Wait or not, I'd do it all over again, and I'd wait longer for an ELA.
I support American made products first and formost. By Superpissed I meant really really disappointed. I own my own company, and I know how difficult it can be. I sympathize with David big time. I fell in love with the strata as it came out of the box!

If you're having trouble tightening the top cap, check for your negative leads protruding into the air path on the top deck.

I actually had mentioned a few months ago when i released the flat bottom caps the possibility doing a run of the old brass non locking buttons which would just drop in, so i'll check our stock of brass rod and see if my machinist cant squeeze some in.

kiba, you were given warning. 5 years on this forum and i have no time to deal with trolling and rehashing misinformation that is being spread, especially by someone who doesn't even own one. You are being asked nice to move along.

I thought I would post up some pics of my setup and a video of the performance. I will put this in the build thread if it reopens.

The setup is a single coil of 30awg kanthal, 6 wraps, on a nail that is somewhere between 1/16 and 5/64. I use the nail because it fits perfectly in my Squape wick channel, whereas 5/64 is slightly too big. Anywho, I don't have a good ohm meter to use on the Strata due to the hybrid connector, but this setup always comes out right at 1.5 ohms.

The coil is placed as far out as possible, right up against the outer wall (without touching). I also curve the coil slightly outward to run right along the outer wall (again, without touching). I bent it outward with a flathead screwdriver, very easy to do. I only bent it after installing the cotton. The setup results in some long coil tails to the posts. I draped some cotton over them to eliminate hot legs. The empty side of the atty has Spheroid filler in it to prevent flooding.

I marked the base with a sharpie to identify the location of the center of the coil. I also marked the cap to identify airhole location. Note that I don't have the airhole directly in front of the coil, but basically at one end of the coil.

In this configuration, it works well and the setup is relatively easy. I did post a video of the vapor I'm getting from it. It's pretty much on par with my other attys. In the video, I'm using a P+18350. Pics speak for themselves I think.

LOL, I gather that some are mad that the Strata is not super simple to build. I wish I had mine already so I could tinker; dollars to donuts I'll be posting up some interesting builds.

By no means did I look at the proto deck and go man that looks way easy to build... Rather, I thought, looks challenging; awesome.

Those are some pretty strong words there kiba, especially for how speculative they are. You're borderline flaming David in his own sub-form. I would delete your posts too.
