Good point. Or even trading it but reading about it seems like it is really unique and I'm excited to try it.

I can't remember if this has been asked yet but I don't think anyone would mind reading/answering it again...
If it is within the realm of answering, (dunno how tight lipped we are being) How leak resistant exactly is the Strata?
The way the air is setup and the way the drip tip goes over the helix screw I imagine it would be extremely hard to get a leak out of a thick juice.. I was just wondering what the overall experience has been on that aspect.

Leakage is one of the primary reasons I don't drip and won't use a genesis. I'm trusting that when David says:

Well, first off you can make it so it "never" leaks by closing the top cap off after use.
That being said, , if you forget, I have made it leak when I don't put sufficient wick inside the juice well and setting it on its side overnight. But with enough wick, it doesn't leak (for me) and of course it doesn't leak if you remember to close the top cap when not in use.
Update 12/3/13: - Still waiting for the center posts to come back from the platters.
- Machined thru 100 bottom caps for the Simplicity 18XXX Strata "polished" version. Working on the next 100 Strata "ribbed" versions for the Simplicity 18XXX. After that we'll run the PrecisePlus version (all 100 will be polished). Next we'll move to the Strata top caps for them.

If all 100 Precise + are polished, what happens to those of us that ordered Satin to match our P+ ?
I'm guessing that David meant "non-ribbed" rather than "polished" since I think he was talking more about the texture rather than the actual finish.
The satin finishing is an additional process at the end, not part of the actual machining, so that happens after they've been manufactured

Why do you say so? Is it because of the lead? Perhaps cricks and bends in the leads?

I've made about 3 micro coils since I found that little thingy bopper and they all were almost spot on..
I think there may be minor differences depending on how tight or loose the coil is wrapped but for the most part, it's pretty spot on using a 1/16 drill bit at least..

i did the formula w 5/64 drill bit.. its spot for a normal coil. but with the micro coil i think since they r all touching each other is a lil different.. but pretty close
My normal coil is 7 wraps of Nichrome 60 around a 1/16" hex key - comes out to .9 ohms every time, exactly what the spreadsheet says. I don't bother with whether the wraps touch or not, it just doesn't seem to make a difference to resistance or vape quality in my experience.
