I couldn't disagree more with TheDC about the IPV2 feeling cheap. Seriously? (I guess some folks want a pimped out looking, bicep-building, spray painted steel electrical box with a generic button and no screen. To each his own I guess

The nifty little box I am thoroughly enjoying is made of aluminum. I wouldn't recommend dropping it (or any mod for that matter) but it has taken a couple falls for me already like a champ. I do plan to SKIN it for scratch protection.

I particularly love the BB style buttons. They are small, flat-topped, precise, clicky, and all work great. (I am glad for that rather than some potentiometer dial or cheap slide found on some garage-made mod). The touch fire, while i have mine disabled, is a new thing to box mods and may not be for all but still cool tech all the same.

And as far as response time on my ipv2... WHOA! There is no delay. Fires hot and super quick. I have run .the range from 7 to 3.7 single and dual coils in RBA and rda and I have never been disappointed. If i want flavor, BAM. Yummy. If I want clouds, BAM. Stop, drop and roll.

Not sure what else you could ask for for $100 bucks.

Potentiometer :p

But yeah. I haven't had a chance to touch mine but that was possibly the first review that says it feels cheap. Everyone else have been heaping praises on the feel and construction.

Not to mention, it is ONE hundred bucks.

I had a zna30. Sure it feels solid and all but oh god, that thing was a ridiculously heavy little thing. Ended up selling it off because it was just annoying to even bring it out. But that's just me

the old rock and hard place get one from elev8 for 80 and wait til September or go over to eciggity get a silver one this week but pay 30$ more decisions decisions

Don't forget fluid vape. I know some have had issues but I ordered mine Fri. It was delivered yesterday. $99.99 + s&h. No screw issue and no touch pad lock and unlock issue like some other folks have experienced. My own personal experience was flawless.

I already have the pioneer Yihi SX-330 at 50 Watts and the maximum I can pull off of any resistance atty is about 30 watts. Anything over that will burn the hell out of you lungs. I'm working on a custom 120 Watt Raptor GE chip, just deciding on an enclosure but the GE Naos Raptor chip requires 2 18650 or 26650 batteries in series so you need a pretty big enclosure unless you are willing to pass on the volt meter. I could but a Hammond enclosure but they are all very boxy looking.

I don't think the market for 100 watts will be very big as it is impossible to tape at that wattage. The SX-330 or 350 chips are much better than the DNA chips. The DNA will fry instantly if you put the battery in backwards

Pre-ordering items that are already available in stock in the U.S. is crazy. They take your money before they even place the order. I have my Authentic Pioneer Yihi SX-350 running at 50 Watts.

I have been vamping a long time and in my opinion going any higher than 35 watts is insane and will burn your lungs. It all ego. Watch the YouTube vide "vaping at 400 watts" an toy will LYAO

I'm order 7390 from elev8. Emailed them twice to get a ballpark idea of when I could expect it, no reply. Called them today and it went straight to a full mailbox. Pretty sure I'm gonna be pulling the plug from them and placing an order through one of the multiple site that has them in stock.

I'm too impatient to wait what seems like it's going to be potentially months from them. I'm ok with coughing up an extra 10/20$ to get it from another shop and potentially have it by the weekend. That is, if I can even get a response from elev8

You should know by now if you have been vaping that long that logic and practical thinking is frowned upon when it comes to mega wattage mods .

My mod is more powerful than your mod is all that matters , whether it is a good choice for how most people vape is irrelevant lol.

Hmmm:confused:

I have tried 3 toptions:
.4,.7, and 1.4 and they all read the same on the IPV2 as they do on my Ohm reader, as well as my vamo
(can't use 2 of them but the vamo reads them fine)
In Fact just the other day my dual coil .4, read as .8, and I verified one of the coils was loose and not heating up

Retightened and immediately displayed .4

Not sure why many of you are giving elev8 a bad ding

Their web site had constant updates and while there was some delay, it came in fine

When I originally pre ordered, it was before the coupon, and was 99.00
I saw the coupon code the next day, emailed them and got the discount applied right away

Most likely they are not used to the large amount of responses they are getting and not set up to handle such a volume.
Same with Fluid Vapes, who I have had no issues with either.

I know good customer service is very important,, but buying Internet Hardware is not on demand, and a little patience is needed, especially for a new product , and from a company many of us have not used before.
But Eciggity has always been great, so for the xtra funds, use who you know and feel comfortable with.

I can just see the 50.00 Fastech clones and the 3 week waiting time !
