There had better be a warranty or it's a definite no go . I contacted 101vape and inquired , they said they are actively looking into these ipv's.

The latest box mod from China! Packing the new monstrous sx330 chip capable of reaching an astounding 50watts! YiHi Chips are fantastic non clone chips coming out of china, YiHi have consistently been breaking the watts boundaries and bringing it to us at an affordable price point.

The IPV2 doesn't look bad either, in a slim line case roughly the size of two iphone in depth It utilizes one 18650 battery and can be charged via mini USB port. These units have been ordered and are guaranteed. Warranted for a year by the manufacturer, Green Leaf. One year warranty by manufacturer.

You can pay $120 for an iPV with an advertised 1 year warranty or $80 for one without. Square Trade quotes $14.99 for a 3 year warranty.

I'll let the vendors sort it out , i'm not paying $120.00 for a device that has a wholesale price of $50.00 and retail price of $79.00 with coupon .

I would pay an extra $14.99 for a three year warranty though .

I've got several Greenleaf Seven-22 and Seven-30 Mods with Yihi SX chips! They have all been flawless and I'm not worried about warrenty from these suppliers!
What does worry me is the IPV is only 22mm wide so only uses one 18650 battery and would from a practical sense be limited to 22mm 4 to 5 ml atomizers!
With that setup they're talking about 35, 50, 80, & 100 Watts!
When You are vaping above 20 watts an 18650 battery has a short life! Also above 20 watts the juice useage goes way up! One more thing, since an IPV won't be a good candidate to wear on a lanyard around your neck and will probably used for the most part as something you set on the desk;the 22 mm width won't make it super stable!
All these facts scream to me that Greanleaf should keep the same height and width but increase the thickness to 30mm, utilize a 26650 battery, and accept 28.5 mm 10ml atomizers!! Would also be much more stable on a desktop!!!

Just an engineers thoughts - go ahead and flame away!

Sounds good to me , i tend to like slipping it into a back pocket for transport so thinner sounds good .

I really don't need the 50 watt since i would prefer to vape in the mid teens but i have seen the 50 watt being offered for the same price as the 35 if you use a 20% coupon.

Although warranties are rarely worth it (especially extended warranties) on most electronic items a one year warranty would be a deciding factor for me with this type of item.

I contacted Evan at Pioneer4you to inquire about Elev8vape and the warranty situation with their IPV V2, this is our conversation:

Me: "Is Elev8vape an authorized distributor?

Will the 12 month warranty be valid if I purchase from them?"

Evan: "yes.

we had already let elev8 adjust their retail price.

yes,it will be valid."

Buy with confidence. If anything Origin was large cause for mix up as they were the first to claim that a low price would void warranty and still says so on the site, although in the message it sounds as if Pioneer4you gave permission to Elev8 specifically. I'm unsure but happy to clear up this warranty deal.

Well.

Just placed a preorder for the 50W mod. bloody excited. Also have a dual 18650 DNA30 from shanmods coming in, so it'll be a good regulated mod vapemail.

Also saw this from the dna30 coop. Mikepetro (one of the veteran coop hosts) says that p4u will be removing that godawful woman engraving.

You will love your ShanMod - the dual batts are a great addition, i wish more modders would do that. As for the p4u, i actually like the woman engraving....Just ordered mine, can't wait.

There are several mods using the sx350. The sigilei was the first to use it... that I know of commercially. Edit- I guess not.. could've sworn it was a sx350. -I would think the seven-22 will get the sx350 on the higher powered versions.

There are many box mods with the sx350 chipset..

The SX350 chip is a very expensive chip that retails for around $70. It allows for user firmware upgrades, has a buck circuit to step down power and has a bypass mode. These are features not available on other YiHi chips.

I haven't been able to find anything being produced in large quantities using the SX350 chip. For whatever reason, YiHi seems to be be limiting their SX350 chips to modders use for the time being.

The Sigeleis have not used the SX350 nor have Grean Leaf/pioneer4you's Sevens.
Sigelei 20 - SX220
Sigelei 30 - SX300
Seven 22 - SX220
Seven 30 - SX300

A few SX350 mods have shown up on eBay and these two have had some limited production, Tatroe Atlas 50w and BC Modz.

Hey guys, I am very interested in the 50 watt version for powering my kfl+ and fogger v4 around .8 ohms. I am a poor college student and don't have a huge vape budget so the next mod I get will be the only mod I get until next summer. I only have experience with my one and only mech mod which I use with my dripper, kfl+, and recently acquired fogger. Do you guys think this 50w sx330 is a smart buy or should I wait for the 100w chips, sx350 mods, dual 18650 mods etc.?
