Is dripping on the way out?

I have to wonder, with the latest advances in new tanks, if dripping is still as popular as it was. Personally I have a few tanks so good that it would be hard to tell the difference. And that's without the constant fiddling, not to mention the whole building coils hassle. Don't get me wrong. I have NOTHING against dripping. I just wonder if it will become old school soon. What do you say?

I don't think dripping is on the way out. On one end, you have the cloud chasers, on the other, you have the flavor chasers. Apparently the bar next door is the bottom feeders - I peeked in the door yesterday...they have cookies...not sure what's in the milk, though, but I'm going back this week, so it's all good!

i dont think so either. to me personally I think RDA's are more convenient, just not as travel-friendly as tanks, but i still have yet to buy a subohm tank to try so I still travel with leak-resistant atties and a 10ml bottle of ejuice. I probably will still continue to use RDA's due to the fact that the coiling/wicking is much cheaper/convenient. Some of these new sub-ohm tanks are selling their replacement coils for about 3$ a piece, and id probably go through so many because I like warmer vapes. I also like building new coils and experimenting with different coil/wicking setups. I usually recoil/rewick my RDA 2-3 times a day if I'm just at home vaping, going with a tank for me personally would increase my vaping costs a ton.

I do see more vapers out there using these subohm tanks though out and about, those that arent into RDA's and rebuilding themselves. I just dont see RDA's going out of style because there are still going to be those vaping 'enthusiasts' out there that would much prefer an RDA over a Tank. Then theres the Kayfun crowd which technically is an RDA/Tank, and I'd probably go to one of those (if any) than one of the Subtanks that take premade coils.

Definitely no. I think they will stay popular for quite some time. On a personal level is different. I have had RDAs and thought they were enjoyable, but a little drippy/messy. I tried a REO for a very short period of time with a Chalice III and a Nuppin on it. I liked tanks, but the Kafun lite plus v2 gave me more grief than happiness. I have had an Erlkoenigin for a while now and that is all I vape and I am getting more of them. The flavor, convenience, and vapor production of them have me sold. Glad I found my happy place. I don't begrudge others differences for Vaping. I hope everyone finds their "happy place." Between my Erlkoenigin and Nicoticket I have found mine after spending lots of money on different gear and juice.

There isn't a tank on the market that can match the flavor of my newest RDA. The masses are talking about all these new Sub-ohm tanks without realizing just how innovative these new RDA's are becoming with things like top Vertical Airflow.

I think there are going to be much more advancements on the rta side that will bridge dripping and tanks. Look at the consumer friendly subtank and its popularity. The kayfun v4 has been really popular, and as more advancements come in rtas they will get more powerful and flavorful, and it will obviously make dripping obsolete.

Whenever they come up with something the size of an RDA, rebuildable (non pre-made coils), and holds around 2-5ml eliquid, good airflow and leakproof, ill scrap my RDA's for it. There are some sort of like it such as genesis atomizers, or bottomfed mods but i dont see myself buying a reo or a bigger mod than the typical 18650 tubes or a small vaporshark. Still got to try out a genny but haven't found one that I want to buy as of yet.

Don't forget about the advancements in RDA's either though. And even if something like a Kayfun can match the flavor and vapor of an RDA one day, they are too much of a hassle for me and I only use a tank while at work.

I'm not the type of person who has an ADV and I'm generally switching between four and five flavors throughout the day. With a tank, I have to dump my juice back in the bottle and clean the thing out. With a dripper, I just drip a different juice whenever I feel like it. Unless I'm using my Tarot Labs - High Priestess. Then I'll rewick because the cinnamon lingers so long.

I would rewick any flavor change on a dripper, and I can put in as much juice as I want in my tank.. And with the nano kit for my taifun, it's quite small. I'm not saying that would work for you, but the gap is getting smaller with each rta. I think there will always be drippers, but I can see plenty of drippers moving to the convenience of an rta.

Since most of my flavors do have a similar profile, rewicking isn't something I really need to do unless it's a flavor that will clash.
