Is nic really addictive?

People are all different, but some of us remain quite dependent on our nic. I haven't had a smoke in 3-1/2 years, but I very much still need my nic. There's always a mod on my nightstand for when I wake up. I don't leave the house without one, and if I'm going to be gone more than an hour or two, I take a backup as well. If I'm going to be someplace where I can't vape for more than an hour or two (very rare), I'll use nic gum to take the edge off.

Was there other stuff in cigs that made them even more "addictive"? Absolutely. I had cravings off-and-on for 3 months or so. WTA liquid helped, but even that wasn't a complete substitute.
