I would enjoy a good post (very earnest) about "what vaping did to my sphincter."

Not the whole digestive system, just that. Some flavors make it itch, some make it burn, some make it expand rapidly.

Hell I could DO one myself.

Anna

Please refrain.

WHAT????? :facepalm:

IDK, but if I suspected that any of my DIY was doing those things to ME, I think I'd be checking the ingredients I was using in it and change a bunch of them. :blink: I'd also likely be changing the detergent that I used when laundering my underwear.

ETA: Rather than suspect vaping first though, I'd suspect the detergent and/or different things you're eating. Seriously.

welcome to ECF
You already know you are susceptible to nic addiction, maybe try zero nic to avoid going back to needing nic.

@HigherStateD

I saw you disagreed with my post, it was tough for me to write that "Please refrain" because I knew it would be loads of fun if @stols001 had gone ahead and posted. Maybe she, too, will give me a big red "x" - hope springs eternal.

NO! Not yet! Don't reply as if I mean it.... I have to start the thread. I shall go into SO much more detail. LOL.

I'm kidding. My sphincter is just fine oh, except for when I ate that coil. Vaping actually DID cause some.... action down there. I really, really thought..... that I had like, something terribly wrong.

I guess I kind of did :lol::lol::lol::lol:

LOL.

SO glad the Valium fog is gone.

I've just rubbed some 72mg nicotine between my .... cheeks and it burns like hell. I feel great though. Is this normal???
That depends on several things. Did you enjoy it? Are you willing to repeat the experience? Was alcohol involved? So many variables here.....

This thread started silly and it just keeps getting sillier.

I checked with my supplier and this is within the standard scope of support. If any irritation occurs flush the affected area with copious amounts of water and consider switching to a milder salt nic.

The nicotine adds flavor .. i tried a juice at vape shop with 2 versions .. 0 and 6 ml nicotine .. the nicotine
free stuff tastes dull .. the nicotine itself is just a stimulant its not harmful and mabey not even addivtive
i bet there are other stuff in the normal cig that makes it addictive rather then the nicotine ..

It's more accurate to say, as scholars of Addictions Studies do, that nicotine creates a physical dependence. If you stop using it, you experience withdrawal symptoms. Caffeine and alcohol also form physical dependences when consumed regularly. If you have a physical dependence on a substance which causes severe negative consequences (which can include health, social, and monetary), and still continue to use the substance, then you are said to be addicted. If there are no severe negative consequences to using a substance then you cannot be said to be addicted to it.

ETA: As an ironic corollary, governments can, by heavily taxing harmless products, be reasonably accused of creating addicts.

I just responded to a thread where the person never smoked but started vaping. They where only using 3 mg which I defended as being reasonable, but 25 mg is a whole different thing! Way to much and downright foolish. Vape shop employee should be tied to a post and whipped! I assume the shop asked for an ID, so I also assume OP is of legal age. We have been getting too many of these posts recently, and if any of them are from underage people then we might have to shove a lolly pop up their ars and send them away.
