Great thread. Thank you for this information. Well done!
Excellent compilation....now we need to know exactly or approximately how many puffs there are until the MVP2 dies....mine rolled over and I lost count![]()
Nice..like a push to talk button on a handi talky...sweet!View attachment 268758View attachment 268758
This is the best way to press the button, barely takes any pressure.
Here are some photos of the internals of an MVP v1, most different with the MVP2 is the eGo connector and the VW options and stuff
unsure..haven't seen any pics of the mvp2 floating around so just going on that...Did the MVP have a different battery? I'm seeing 2200mAh printed on it, I thought they were 2600mAh.
My MVP 2.0 came with a pretty loose drip tip. It is quite annoying and I am afraid I will lose the tip at some point. I tried changing the white o-ring without success. What did work well was to take a sliver of Teflon tape and put two wraps under the o-ring. It is now nice and snug.
Challenge.....accepted.
When my battery dies anyway, we'll have the answer before then I'm sure.

"puff counters are (nearly completely) useless" soap box. ;-)
The Chinese promote the puff counter as if it were a valuable tool (we do like to count things, don't we?). "Why, to count puffs of course"... as if all variables, other than the count, are otherwise the same.
Personally, I think it just a generic counter that comes with the microprocessor, and rather than disable it, they call it a puff counter... and we look for reasons to justify it's existence.
"Look! I did 1,434 (2 second) puffs!!! You did what, only 851 (10 second X 2 consecutive) puffs?" Yep we can certainly draw some valuable conclusions there... can't we.
Even in the highly unlikely event that two people vaped the exact same way (identical twins perhaps?)... with what are they vaping? The same atty at the same resistance, at the same watts setting... with the same juice too? I'm not a mathematician... but I'm thinking the odds are not in good favor.
Perhaps to someone trying to legitimately keep track of their individual use... kind of like how many cigarettes they use to smoke. That's the only argument I can think of where the counter might serve a genuine, rather than arbitrary purpose. I invite others to provide practical, real world values for a puff counter.
I could go on, but I did say "briefly" at the outset.![]()
My mvp2 died after a few days, i had a glass tank crack and leak all over my batt, now it wont charge, or light up or anything, only used for 3 days. Does any one know how to revive it?

Isn't a puff counter where they sell cosmetics?
I think that might be a foof... or perhaps, for our British friends, a poof or poofta counter.State O' Flux said:I invite others to provide practical, real world values for a puff counter.
