Take the drip tip o ring off put dental floss in slot put o ring back on until it is tight, just a suggestion.

Thanks for the tip, Gimpy1261, but I tried that. I must have read it off one of your other posts, but it was still wobbly. I'm beginning to think the PT2 just wasn't made for just any 510 drip tip to be used in it. The drip tip "well" is just not deep enough, it would appear.

joseph - I had to look around to find out where I got them from but here you go...Stainless Steel Long Drip Tips

They fit really tightly and have no wobble at all. There are other styles there as well. A little pricey, but they are solid stainless.

Excellent! I will try one out ASAP! Thank you so much. I am really enjoying this new treat. The VTR is so powerful compared to the Vision Spinner 1100mAh and 1300mAh that I've used since I started vaping last November, I'm thinking innokin will have to come out with an adapter that shoots electrodes out of it so you can use it as a tazer! Ha!

You know, I still use Volt 78mm auto batteries with CE3s when my hands are too busy to work a mod. I also have some Volt X2s, also autos, that I use as well. The mods, VTR, 134 and a couple of Vamos, are my favorites when I can use them. Add an iClear 30 or Protank and they are very hard to beat, at least for me.

Oh yeah, I'm waiting for a Coolfire 2 through a co-op so I have a hand grenade to go with my mini gun, LOL.

Hey, awsum140. So I ordered the #1 as it has the simplest, most classic smooth lines to it, and it's because it's tapered like an old-fashioned cigarette holder (also, they were out of stock on the #2, but I'm not sure I would prefer it anyway). I think it will complement the PT2/VTR nicely. It sure is good to know beforehand that it will fit well; I should have solicited recommendations before I went out and bought one in the first place. Just out of curiosity, which one(s) did you get?

While I'm posting on the VTR accessories I am getting, I want to also thank Baditude's excellent advice on batteries (http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...4-question-about-itaste-vtr.html#post11709776). That guy is obviously an expert (anyone who uses terms like "thermal runaway" is way over my head)! The first of my two new Panasonic NCR18650PF 2900mAh High Drain 10A IMR batteries finally discharged down below 3.61 volts today (as indicated by the VTR's battery status indicator lighting up "red") after 5 days of intermittent use, since Friday afternoon (I always vape 24mg/ml juice, so I don't chain-vape). Not too shabby, eh? :)

joseph - I'm using the #1 tip as well. Works very nicely, at least for me. attitude is a real battery expert, without question. If you follow his advice, read and understand what he is saying, you'll be pretty safe with lithium ion batteries. Too many people make assumptions about them that can lead to some rather "interesting" problems. The amount of power that these high capacity/high drain batteries can produce under the wrong conditions, or a catastrophic failure, is really amazing!

I'm having problems this morning. I got the 3400 mah Panasonic batteries and the button lights to fire but no vape. I hope it's not my vtr. On the good news I got a aero tank on a impulse buy and love it. Waiting on my vape store to get more in stock to convert my pt3 and pt2. All the dry hits that got me to give up kanger is gone in the aero tank.

Wow..
Thanks for all that info! Very good !
but first...
I tried some simple things to fix the problem.
I cleaned the contact points with alcohol and used compressed air to blow out any e liquids or dirt from the connection rotating wheel.
It seems to have fixed the problem..
Maybe its a temporary fix..
My fix Didn't work for long ..or at all.
I contacted myvaporstore by email..
One hour later they sent me everything I need to return the device back to them.
Nice!!
Im almost 30 days into the warranty...
I really love the VTR ...I will miss it

That's good. You're going to enjoy its replacement even more knowing you won't have to worry about it as much, if at all. I've been using mine exclusively for home use since it arrived a week ago. I haven't even tried the iClear 30s it came with; I've just used the either the PT2 with the Aerotank base (or the PT2 Mini with the adapter cone) since I got it, and it seems like the ideal "desktop" arrangement, especially since I received my new drip tip from Stormy's Vapor Cellar this morning (see post #465; thanks again to awsum140). I'm still experimenting with different juices and trying to find my favorites to use with it... I've got 13 untasted flavors from MBV steeping as I write. Patience is a virtue, eh?

Hey, check this out: a Computer Numerical Control (CNC)-machined, 316 stainless steel (food-grade) tank for the PT2 or PT3. Indestructible! I couldn't resist ordering one. I don't know how practical it will be, but it's going to look so cool on the VTR!

I can't wait to for the aero tank bases to come back in stock.

Try this place in Pennsylvania; they appear to have them in stock for $5.95 + $2.25 shipping = $8.20... $1.33 more than MVS, but it all depends on how patient you are (I already have one, so I can wait). But Sun Vapers, MVS and VapeDojo are all out of stock. That's a good indication of how popular they've become relatively overnight.

Anyone else having a problem with the resistance checker on the fixed version? Specifically when using the extension. I have also noticed if I change batteries I have to take extension off than reconnect it. Than screw tank back on for it to read the ohms. This is on the fixed version. No spinning base.

Cleaned all contacts thoroughly and it didn't fix the problem.

Yes, I have the same problem when using the extension (no spinning base). Sometimes it will read 2-3 Ohms high, and other times I just get a "NON" reading. I have pretty much resigned myself to not using the extension as it's pretty much a P.O.S......My Ohm readings work just fine without the extension, though....
