The no vaping signs were hanging on business doors LONG before California started their false ad attacks. Those signs were a direct result of vapers acting poorly, no doubt about that in my book..

Responsible vapers should be just as upset with the irresponsible vapers as they are with the government.. Both of these camps are hurting the cause..

What harm are you insinuating comes from vaping? Got any sources?

At any rate, has that ever happened to a child? Someone walks up to them and blows vapor clouds in their face just because! If so, was there any long or short term danger? Sounds like a bit of a stretch to me, but truth is often stranger than fiction.

Why would you believe educating non vape heads/smokers is a bad thing? You'd rather they stay in the dark?

I am not saying it is a bad thing to educate, I think you misunderstood me, ofc not, all I am saying is why would a none vape head bother educating themselves out of the blue?

Original post describes someone fogging up the entire shop, that IS confrontational & extremely rude, again in my books and seems not only mine, as most of the world is in the process of banning it in public.

While I finally found a way to quit smoking using this newfangled thing called an e-cig, there's these hot rod kids who don't smoke (cigarettes) and are now blowing sub-ohm clouds all over the place. Yes exactly, we both touched on this aspect in another of these threads a few weeks ago... they seem to keep popping up with regularity. But to me, someone who never, ever could get free of cigarettes by ANY other means, though I tried several times and really wanted to be a non-smoker, but could not stand the withdrawal -- I finally found this miraculous deliverance from a habit that outlived its welcome about 30 yrs ago, and now, not only are there all these greedy, stupid, and depraved fools trying to say it's dangerous, there are all these other fools turning it -- a modern miracle of the highest order -- into cheap entertainment, and in so doing, alienating the public from this miraculous deliverance, and yeah, that really irks me. They have no right to cheapen it in this way, just as the "public health" desk murderers have no right to tell lies about it for the benefit of corrupt and already-filthy-rich industries and leeches on those industries.

Why would the reason for or way anybody else does something affect how you feel about it? My pride is unchanged from the day I quit smoking, and is exactly the reason I'm in the "vape everywhere" camp.

When their vaping rights are gone they will never admit that they were part of the problem, sadly... Blame will always be placed elsewhere. It's the new world order of self entitlement and / or a need for attention..

While I'm in the needed the vape to not smoke camp, it really bothers me when some are questioned about why they vape based on not smoking.
A) its very likely that without vaping, they would be smoking, a burden I wouldn't saddle anyone with.
B) what does it matter? Harm reduction? There are literally less carcinogens in vaping then you would find in a tasty steak. That is well beyond harm reduction in my book. These false studies finding any harmful substances the Antz like to spout, were done at such high temperatures you would scald your lungs trying to vape it. Not to mention many of the things "found" were mislabeled as something other then what they were to make them sound worse. So I say let them vape, regardless of why they started. I wish this was around when I started smoking and I had started vaping instead. If its the method of how they vape that irks you, the answer is simple.... Don't vape that way. Again, let them vape. If you think Joe blow cloud chucker has any influence on looming regulations, try reading what these proposed regulations are. Guaranteed they will affect 0 Nic clouders far less then the average vaper... They will still be able to go down to Wally world to pick up some VG, drop some flavoring in it and blow clouds to their hearts content.

You are always entitled to wear a product such as an after shave, provided that its scent is not distinct outside this "personal space".

Coming back to vape, and applying the same "arm's length" rule, what would you guys think of someone that vapes unflavored, and doesn't blow cloudz beyond his "personal space"? Shall he be able to vape everywhere where he can observe this rule?

Why not? I don't feel it should even have to be unflavored.
My mother, who is about as anti smoking as they come, allergic to just about everything....majorly so tobacco smoke, inadvertently walked by someone vaping. Her reaction? "ooh that smells good"

You mean placing blame where it's due? Zero evidence points to legislation stemming from vapers and their actions. Insurmountable evidence points to BT, BF and tax hungry government being the sole cause of looming regulations. You guys should spend half as much effort towards fighting these regulations as you do vilifying a very small percentage of vapers and what/how/where they vape. The still largest percentage of vapers, the ones the public will more often encounter, are the tootle puffers, the ego type users etc.. To say the smallest percentage of the vape world is setting the public opinion of us and driving regulations is kinda silly.
