I just ordered some of these Labo pads from amazon. I accidently ordered the large size pads not medium as you all seem to be buying. Comes with 120 pads as opposed to 200 pads. Does anyone know if this will make a difference as far as pad density is concerned? From my understanding you split the pads in half, then cut out a strip for your wick. Just wondering if the large pad needs to be split more before cutting your wicking strip. Looking forward to trying these cotton pads. Only bad thing is I have to wait for them to be shipped from Japan. Oh well....been getting a little frustrated with some of the pima cotton I've been using due to inconsistent wick sizes and I'm ready to try these pads.

They're probably just longer...but I'd try cancelling that order and reordering the medium sized pads with a vendor that ships out of the States.

So far I have gone through only one pad in two weeks.... Looks like I have enough for a while unless the wifey decides to "borrow" some.

Hyuk. I'm getting 18 wicks for my kayfun build per half thickness of pad. And I got a 80 pads pack. So yeah. Loooong time.

SILK! Now there's an elitist wick we can all aspire to! I bet silk would transport that vapor smooth as.....well, silk. Let's get pbusardo or Rip testing silk!

EDIT: We could vape with our pinkies in the air!

LOL did not find out about the silk until after I received it, really don't know if it makes any difference in vape quality. regardless it is nice and easy to use.

Just bought Koh Gen Do last night on Nordstrom online, $12 for a 60 pad free shipping, seems they sold out when I looked this morning. You could try maybe at a sephoras or Nordstrom at your local mall see if they have any

I don't see it at Nordstrom. I was getting ready to place an order with them for something else. I figured, I would add that to my cart. My supply is getting low. Must be 'out' already? Hmm..

After running into problems using Rayon in my Kayfuns, going back to cotton, then missing the flavor I decided to try some cotton pads, and these are definitely my preferred wicking material hands down. So easy to work with, flavor is at least as good as rayon, and zero wicking issues in my kayfuns.

I'm not sure what brand I have, got them from a local shop who sourced them from Japan, but says they aren't KGD... looks a LOT like KGD to me though:

I wanted to really test out the pads so I threw a .4 ohm twisted 28g coil into my 26650 Kayfun, wicked with the pads (few seconds max, very little "massaging" required) and this thing is performing close to some of my drippers. Flavor is amazing just like rayon, and .4 ohm in a kayfun without any dry hits seems pretty impressive to me, if that coil wasn't completely saturated it would burn very quickly.

Rayon impressed me, but was more difficult to get the density perfect, and it seems like rayon requires absolute perfect density. These pads are by far the easiest wick to work with, and give flavor matching rayon IMHO. Quickly switched all my setups over to these and couldn't be happier!

I finally received my Labo organic cotton pads after ordering them almost a month ago and it's FANTASTIC. I re-wicked my Origen clone after watching Drifter's video on how to use it and...the flavor is the best I've ever had. I'm getting a pure and saturated flavor, and the vapor production and throat hit seems to have increased as well. Also gotta love how easy it is to work with! :)
