I could do that, but the problem is with a ce2, when you are turning the cap. When the cap contacts the silicone cup, it's going to try to spin it. Then you'll play hell getting your slots to line up.

Jon would it be possible to put threads on both the caps and tanks? Thatd be much more secure and transportable/drop proof.

No o-ring in the top cap. I bore them .001-.002 over the size of the carto. This gives it a fairly snug slip fit but keeps it from leaking. If you leave the silicone cap on the carto, it will actually act as a seal when the tank is pushed all the way down.

Jon, is there an oring in the top cap?

My wife and I have been using them without the silicone cap. No leaks. Great stuff. Waiting for the new stuff.
