Thanks everyone. I really wanted to make something unique and different. They are a lot more work to make, but I think the end result is worth it. My boss gets mad at me sometimes because I'm really picky on how my work looks. I want every thing I make to look like it was done by a professional.

Jon would it be possible to put threads on both the caps and tanks? Thatd be much more secure and transportable/drop proof.

I could do that, but the problem is with a ce2, when you are turning the cap. When the cap contacts the silicone cup, it's going to try to spin it. Then you'll play hell getting your slots to line up.

No o-ring in the top cap. I bore them .001-.002 over the size of the carto. This gives it a fairly snug slip fit but keeps it from leaking. If you leave the silicone cap on the carto, it will actually act as a seal when the tank is pushed all the way down.

My wife and I have been using them without the silicone cap. No leaks. Great stuff. Waiting for the new stuff.

I will be up bright and early to finish turn and polish the top caps. Then bore and groove the bottom caps. I'm hoping to get done sometime in the early afternoon, so I can get some outdoor pics again. Hoping to get them online tomorrow night if all goes well.
